What’s up snoopers we are back and this time we have a BIG REACTION! Here we are with Eddie Murphy in 2007s NORBIT. Mild-mannered Norbit (Eddie Murphy) has always had it rough, since the day he was left abandoned at a combination Chinese restaurant and orphanage. Recently forced to marry the shrewish glutton Rasputia, he is at wit's end. Then his childhood sweetheart, Kate (Thandie Newton), moves back to town, and he tries to figure out a way back to his true love. This movie had tons of nostalgia and was absolutely hilarious with a Banging Cast!

This a childhood film for me I always watched this a lot when I was smaller and it's just great every time I always thought of it kinda Underdog Story with Norbit learning to stand for himself and be a man and thing likes that and Rasputia is one of the most hilarious villains I've ever seen I still wonder how she went for from liking Norbit and controlling him and the rest of the cast is just hilarious and Eddie Murphy is definitely a MVP when it comes to playing Multiple Characters in a movie

Norbit did break his true love Kate's heart to he protect her from Rasputin. Like Shrek did break Artie's heart to he protect him from Prince Charming. Angel break his real true love of his life Cordelia and their friends's hearts from his first love Darla, his old friend Drusilla, ones of his arch enemies Wolfram And Hart Enterprise while he's in dark phase.
Everybody understands anybody break their loved one's hearts to protect them from danger.
Eddie Murphy, eddie griffin, and katt Williams are one of the best actors in norbit and especially terry crews

13:46- Rasputia, classic narcissist gaslighting her victim, never taking accountability, abusing Norbit in every shape and form. I do not feel bad that she gets mocked with the fat jokes alot.
17:36- People who have been in abusive relationships have been manipulated and gaslighted so much they think that their abuser is the only one that they can be with. Also Rasputia has broken Norbit's esteem so low that she made him think nobody would want him, but Kate returning motivates him to become confident in himself and stand up against his abuser.
32:59- That's a legit hostage situation, so Norbit said what he needed to protect Kate. However it's not Kate's fault for not getting it because she didn't know he was being abused.

I think the reason theoretically norbit never moved out is because they live in a kinda “small town” of sorts you know that whole “everybody knows everybody” town and her brother basically run the town with they lil backyard business 💀 so like where could he hide from her? Is what I always thought

Not on the level of some of Eddie Murphy's other movies like Harlem Nights, The Nutty Professor 1&2, Coming To America, Boomerang, Trading Places, 48 Hours, and Beverly Hills Cop 1&2 but it is still a funny movie.

Hold up, it's not a "classic" for reasons, but was deemed a bad movie, when it came out. Is it safe to say, it's not her go to comedy type, or she kind of likes it, but it's too childish!? Which is understandable . If she likes nutty professor, I would think she would love this, for r that could've been childish to her as well
