Peggy Bose on Santiago Bose's Studio Memorabilia and Unfinished Projects

Peggy Bose, Santiago Bose’s wife, recounts stories about the late artist’s life as she goes through his studio memorabilia and unfinished projects.
‘Spirited Traces’ is the third installment in the sequence of exhibitions on Santiago Bose conceived by Filipino art historian, curator, and critic Dr. Patrick Flores in 2019. It closely reads the artist’s form and language and stems from the effort of the earlier initiations to stage, first, the impulse of the intelligence (Bare Necessities, 2019), and second, to survey the sites that specified his endeavors (Striking Affinities, 2021).
In 2024, Silverlens will be publishing a book on Santiago Bose written by Dr. Patrick Flores that will delve into the life and practice of the artist to culminate this series of exhibitions.
