I have this exact xj. All leather dual powered seats heated seats, Infiniti sound system, full size spare tire fog lights wood grain chrome grill, painted bumper and end caps, lsd differential. Literally absolutely no higher trim model. All with 100k miles for $5,000. The dood didn't even know what he was selling!
Drew Dyer They don’t run hot but the cooling system by design gets up to temp very quickly. Mine gets up to a hair below 210 in the morning before I leave the neighborhood. Where it stays until summer comes around and it will run around 215- 220 in heavy traffic. But the stock gauges aren’t very accurate and the temp at the block is a rock solid 190

Bought 93 XJ brand new. Ran for 26 years. 198000 miles, sold it for 650 bucks within 15 min in my driveway. Got rear ended in 98 so rust became an issue big time. However, it ran like a champ. The guy loved it and was so happy to buy it! I bought a 2001 XJ 4x4 Oct 2019 for 4500 withc187000. Put 5 grand into it right away: Tires, full brake job, shocks, suspension parts, battery, altenator, belt, water pump and hoses, oil pan gasket after lower end inspection to find source of knock (two loose wrist pins) as per Jeep Dealer mechanic. Ac work. I love it!!!

Yeah it's clean and low miles but not $22,000 clean. I also think there's been paintwork on the back, maybe not collision damage per say.
2000 and 2001's have Head Problems and and a Low Pinion axle.
