One of my favorite drummers ever. I had the privilege of seeing him twice in Memphis, Tennessee with ELP. Blew my mind. His stamina and technique is awesome.

Not only a phenomenal player but one of the nicest guys in the business you could ever meet. I attended one of his clinics back in the late 80s and he stayed after to sign every last autograph for every attendee.

Just saw them in Erie PA on Friday night … amazing! Carl is better at 74 years of age that he was at 22! God bless Carl for giving us his talent for over 50 years! May he do so for another 50!

That drum solo is better than what he was putting out 5 years ago. Still amazing and the best drummer on the planet.

First time at Penn's Peak and first time to see any of the members of ELP live. Since I never got a chance to see Keith, Greg, and Carl in person, I was not going to pass up this opportunity. I was smiling from the beginning and wanted the show to never end. This was an incredible night that I will remember forever. Thanks to the fantastic musicians and everyone involved in putting this show together! Continue the legacy...

I have been an ELP fan since their inception ,amazed at their unique sound and dedication to that standard of creativity and top notch performance✨….make it a priority to see Carl play in any/NJ area when the band travels- still outrageous 🙏

It's very important to keep yourself in shape if you want to be a good drummer keep your chops up look at Uncle Carl 72 I'm 53 and this guy is still amazing I met him and Keith Emerson in New Brunswick at the State Theater I actually shook hands would keep Emerson and Carl Palmer very nice person no ego that I saw very humble keep on rocking Uncle Carl you're a badass machine

His grand father and father were both professional drummers. It is in his blood. My favorite of course. ELP one of the most talented bands ever.

I went to see ELP at the Rochester War Memorial , NYS in 1972. They were my all time fave band. Sadly Greg and Keith are no more, but they left a huge mark on the music word.

I heard a story , some years ago . ELP was doing a cover of 21st century schizoid man , by King crimson. They apparently gave up, because Carl palmer being the perfectionist could not get it right. Worth a listen. Mick Giles drummer of King crimson.

That was very early in their work together, if I'm not mistaken. Michael Giles was absolutely incredible.
