Tethering with Sony Cameras in Lightroom Classic

The latest update for Lightroom now has the ability for some Sony cameras to tether directly into Lightroom without the need for third-party software. I can tether with my Sony A7RV, but not my A7RIII. This is a terrific addition and I personally am quite happy. #lightroomclassic #tethering #sonya7rv

Any idea why my new Sony A7rV is not being recognized by the newest version of L.R? It works with Imaging Edge, but my preference is to use L.R.

What settings do you need to have on your A7RV for connection to the laptop?

Select Menu > Setup Menu > USB Connection > PC Remote. For more info on camera settings fore wireless tethering and such you might want to check out some other videos

Turn off AF to adjust aperture

As it is a manual lens I never even thought of that.

@dirtysouthtiger af is automatically turned off when lens is attached. Makes no difference
