Designed using solar passive principles, it uses a heat exchange ventilation system in conjunction with ceiling fans and heat pump heating, and the 10kW solar system is battery-ready. Adjacent to the Dandenong Creek reserve, it's surrounded by indigenous plantings, vegetables beds and chooks.
