** EDIT UPDATE: I would actually go with the white gloss from sheet labels for decals because it scratches ALOT less. I didn't notice but the white gloss from online labels kept giving me minor scratches just from feeding it through my printer. **

I only like glossy labels for stickers but it’s difficult to find the size I want that works with laser printers. However I found it on sheets labels. I’ve never purchased from them before but I hope they’re nice

I was looking for this exact thing on Reddit ^ ^ For the weatherproof mattes, would you say that OL or SL printed out more accurately according to how you originally colored it? On camera while you were comparing them in your planner, it looks like the SL sticker printed out darker than the OL sticker, but maybe that was just the lighting?
Yes they print out the same color! My cartridges left some streaks on the OL matte so that's prob why it looked lighter. I cleaned my cartridge heads after and the streaks were gone. But I tried again after and they are the same color :)

Love your designs! Thanks for the review it was super helpful. I have the same printer and am having trouble with black ink rubbing off. I’ve tried multiple types of paper and not sure what is wrong. Wondering if you know any tips for that or what print settings you would recommend. Thanks!
Thanks! I know heavy black ink does smudge a lot especially on glossy paper- that’s why I laminate them. My ink doesn’t smudge on matte paper tho. But full black ink (like on the cricut registration marks) do tend to smudge a bit

I have been using Avery, but I need a larger sticker in the rectangle clear gloss that Avery doesn’t have. The positive point regarding Avery labels, is that they are so easy to bend, which pops up all the edges of each row of labels. Please excuse my ignorance, but I have a question? I was pulling up Avery’s website to print my labels on my laser printer. Do I print from online labels, or how do I set it up to print? I’m so low “techie” it’s embarrassing! Hey I have a very important question! I recently got some samples of this paper... and I have an epson eco tank with sublimation ink. Can I use sublimation ink for this adhesive paper?
I just bought the mat ones from OnlineLabels and the printing quality is so bad, its grainy and all the details are blurry, I used to print the same desingns on normal sticker paper and the quality was better then on the OL ones! I have a really good printer so I don't understend why :'( do someone have some suggestions?

Yes the sticker sheets have 2 sheets basically stuck together as one. The backing and the sticky paper on top.
How do you solve the problem on cricut scanner that can not read the Marks on the glossy paper ?
Put matte scotch tape over the black border lines
I have the White Glossy from OL and for some reason everything that is black smudges quite much (I purchased the white glossy inkjet for my inkjet printer) any idea on how to fix the issue? I have so many sheets of it and your sheet didn't seem to smudge by your touch... Loved the video because it is the best review I have seen so far so thank you for this!
I usually laminate the glossy stickers to prevent the ink from smudging! :)

It really depends on what sticker paper you use and how dull/sharp your blade is. I find that I have to adjust it 2-3 times throughout the life of my blade. I use the white spectacle matte for sticker sheets and usually use custom settings 175 pressure with default selected.

It might be coming from ur printer/ink. Try cleaning ur cartridges from ur printers functions

Glossy paper tends to jam my Samsung laser printer. Is there a paper that works best without jamming.
I’m not too sure. It probably depends on your printer then. I’ve never had any issues with these papers.
Hi! I have the same exact printer but experienced a lot of smudging with black and brown ink when using the weatherproof glossy paper. I can literally rub the black ink right off so easily :( any way around this issue? I have my printer settings on Glossy paper and its printed as an image.
The only way is to laminate the stickers. It’s normal for ink (especially black) to smudge on glossy paper :(
I need some help, I need waterproof paper because I am putting them on water bottles. I have sheetlabels inkjet weatherproof (matte) I’d like glossy but I need them to be able to go on bottles and get wet, are all the glossy papers waterproof? Or which kinds can I get that work? My printer is the same as the one she has
You can laminate the weatherproof matte one and it should work very well on water bottles! I have a video on laminating if you have more questions about that. Not all glossy paper are waterproof. Ink on glossy paper also tends to smudge more if you’re not planning on laminating.

Yup, they work fine if you just self-cut. They’re just like ordinary paper

I bought the OL Weatherproof Gloss to print stickers for waterbottles and such, but I find that if I touch the sticker with a damp hand, it feels SUPER sticky (but isn't actually sticky). The feeling bugs me a lot. Do you know if this happens for the OL Weatherproof Matte too? I'd love to know before I buy some.
Yes! All the glossy ones feel really tacky and sticky unless you put a clear laminate over top. The weatherproof matte doesn’t feel like that at all. It’s actually very buttery smooth.

Hello, my new hp printer prints my sticker with little dots in the images and I don't know how to fix that problem, maybe you had the same problem?
Mine prints tiny dots all around the edge of the sticker. Is this a paper problem or is it the setting with my Cricut Maker?
I had the same issue. Change your HP default settings to Best quality and type of paper (I use Other Matte photo paper but see what works best for you).

Yes the matte ones are really nice to write on and they don’t smudge either!

I just received the standard white matte form OnlineLables but 2 problems appeared. First I don't know which side I need to print on, both sides looks exactly similar to me. And secondly, yes it's so hard to peel off. I tried to peel off a corner to try to see which side is the sticker but I couldn't do it 😅😂
Ya I wouldn’t recommend using the matte ones for die cuts, only kiss cuts. Then they’re a lot easier to peel.

How do you get your HP Envy to work!? I’m using Cricut Sticker paper and it is not working and I am so frustrated! And I just bought this printer!
Circuit sticker paper isn’t very good quality. A lot of times, my printer had trouble detecting it because it curled up so much but it did end up printing on it when it fed through. Try some other sticker paper from Amazon.
@@jellyjarco Mine doesn’t even print on it and just leaves ink spots on it. Wasting SO much ink from doing this. Thank you for responding. It’s just a pain, I’ve been waiting for this for weeks now - and all that sticker paper I just bought is now useless.
Can you tell me which would be the best for labeling school labels? such as sticking on a Pencil? So far I haven't had much luck with the online labels product as they seem to want to go back to "flat" Also the adhesive doesn't seem to stick to the laser polyester. I didn't try the inkjet.

pencils are very round so im not surprised that it wants to go back to flat. i would probably message them and ask. probably the thinner paper would be better so they'll be less rigid.
i'm not sure about laser printers, i only do inkjet. the weatherproof glossy one does have minor scratches on it. ive had mines on my water bottle and there is some from normal wear and tear. i plan to laminate the decal stickers- making a video on that soon!

By any chance did the ink at all rub off just a little.. i have that problem with the sheets i get from Walmart but i ordered samples from online labels both weather proof matte and glossy.. did any ink rub off at all on the weather proofs.?
If you print very saturated dark colors like black they will smudge (a lot on the glossy and not as much on the matte). That’s why a lot of people laminate glossy stickers because they tend to be really tacky and sticky from the ink. The paper itself is “weatherproof” but the ink isn’t.

Thank you for your reviews! I just subscribed to you. have the same printer as you. Do you have problems with the black ink smearing on your sticker papers? Most especially the glossy ones? Can you suggest what setting to have on your printer when printing? I don’t really get much problems with the colored images when printing stickers, but when I print a black and white sticker, the black never dries and smears like crazy! I use genuine HP ink frome instant ink.
Yes black takes FOREVER to dry on glossy paper and will smear if rubbed. That's why I choose to laminate my stickers. I don't think there's any other way to get around this unfortunately :(
@@jellyjarco Thank you for your input. Do you seal the colored ones as well? My experience, colored stickers seem to hold up fine and not smear. It’s really just the black I’m having trouble with.
Yes I also do the colored ones because people put them on water bottles and the laminate makes the paper more water resistant
What setting did you use for the OL waterproof matte ?
When I did the test, I set all of them on paper setting. But it was a bit tough to peel the OL waterproof matte so I suggest trying paper+ or vinyl for that one

Is the matte online labels water resistant?
Yes the weatherproof matte is water resistant. It works well on water bottles. I’ve tried running it under the faucet and it holds up nice.

I think both would work well as long as you put a laminate over it. If you don’t laminate it, the ink tends to smudge/transfer on the glossy ones.

You should try oracal 651 sheets (you can get from amazon). It’s waterproof clear vinyl and the clearest I’ve used. In my opinion the waterproof gloss sticker papers on amazon (zicoto, hayes paper) are a bit better than the online labels one because they seem thicker and less holographic?/weird sheen?.

I believe I used paper+ for the standard matte in the video. It really also depends on how new/dull your cricut blade is.
