Hi, this has been so helpful, I'm halfway through! Do you have any suggestions for what I could do if I wanted wider straps? I can't pull off the backless! Thank you❤

Thank you 🫶🏼
thank you so much for this pattern, it’s v pretty and next on my project list ✨ btw, is there any way to convert this into a top with a back panel? i don’t want mine to be backless 🥲
Thank you ☺️ You could add a rectangle back part to the straight edges of the front panel and attach the straps to the back panel
Awesome tutorial ❤❤ also where do people get cute stitch markers like that ?
Thank you, I got some of mine on Etsy, but I also use cute clasp earring with pendants ☺️
I've been working on and redoing this top over the last week or so and I keep thinking I'm doing something wrong when I do the decreases. My starting chain is very long so I'm doing 4 decreases per row (2 in each end) just like you suggest in the video but when I do that the sides start to buckle and curve in on themselves - I can't get it to lay nice and flat like yours does :(
If anyone has any tips please let me know! Its such a cute top and I have the perfect glittery yarn for it so I want to make sure I like the end product
Be sure that you don’t accidentally skip the first stitch of the row, as it can be easily mistaken for one of the three chains. Could also be that your tension is really tight, in this case try to crochet a little looser when it comes to the increases and keep your chains loose, otherwise they’ll also tug on the other stitches. That’s all that comes to my mind when it comes to this problem, hope this helps 🫶🏼
@@madebyhannahlena Thank you so much for your quick reply!
I think you're right with it being a tension issue, I generally crochet pretty tightly. I think I'll try going up a hook size for the decreases and hope that helps.. I've already frogged the decrease 3 times and done over the whole thing once too 😭
You’re welcome ☺️ Using a bigger hook is a good idea 👍🏼 hope you get the results you want, your yarn choice seems perfect for this piece ✨🖤
