David Howard Thornton looks like he would't hurt a fly then he completely changes when in character.
IDK I have seen him be not so nice on his social media outlets. he and art have more in common than people think
people enjoyed Terrifier 2 more than Halloween Ends.
Terrifier 2 is better than Halloween Ends...I was literally on the edge of my seat all movie, it was gruesome, brutal, terrifying, and captivating throughout.

@@tjplaya1156 not to mention that it’s also visually appealing. The color palette and hues of the film is so nice to see, you can tell a lot of thought and detail went into it which is one of the things I loved about terrifier 2

Both scripts were written by 9 year olds but terrifier is bloodier so it wins I guess
It is so awesome to see a grassroots horror franchise getting this level of recognition while doing great at the box office!

I think Terrifier 2 may be my favorite movie of all time. For how sick it is, the acting is top of the line.
I believe Art will be seen with the other legends of horror. It's awesome to see the gradual build up of this lunattic.
David Howard Thornton brings sooooooo much to this character. Not many actors can pull off a speechless character, but he does it the best I have ever seen and I'm in my 50's. I hate to diss anyone, but look at the first guy that had the role. Good job but David Howard Thornton was born for this role. He says so much without saying a word and the audience gets it, crazy, Very scary and creepy but some how is still funny, only he could pull it off. With out a doubt the new big Halloween favorite for years to come!
This TERRIFER 2 was on a different level. Great Slasher film. I loved the music soundtrack, special and sound effects . What a great acting crew too. Ruthlessly, funny.

Terrifier is incredible. It deserves to be on that same level as Freddy and Jason imo. Beyond just the gore, Art is such a cool character with so much personality. I always think of him as Mr Bean from an alternate dimension where he was born and raised in Silent Hill. lol.
Art is my favourite nowadays i think, he's vicious but has me in fits of laughter with his goofiness and sinisterness lol

I've noticed over the years that so many of the great people directly involved in the making of horror, are some of the nicest, peaceful, most mild-mannered people you could ever hope to meet. Yet so many that are opposed to these kinds of films are the complete opposite. I think the master Wes Craven said it best, that horror films don't create fear and anger, they release it. Terrifier 2 was an epic display of classic gory horror turned up to 11, just a spectacular and wonderful horror movie on every level. I actually cried at the end of it, that's how much invested I was in it. Art is a horror icon, and Terrifier 2 is a slasher classic, up there with the very best in the genre.
Speaking of mild mannered horror creator, Junji Ito came to my mind.

Have only gone to the movies or better yet been excited for a movie in a really long time. This movie was raw! On a 250,000 budget this movie is better than 99% of horror movies that have been released in the last 10 years!

I think this is to be my most favorite gory horror movie of all time

This Guy put Italian Guro Style on Trend again. It's great that Savini is his Inspiration. Specially when Practical Effects are a Dying Art Form.
I just love Art the clown, definitely my favourite horror character now. David acts him perfectly. Art not speaking is way more scary.

The illusion of horror is something I've always appreciated. The original "The Haunting" from the early 60's was always my favorite which is funny because there wasn't a drop of blood and then I loved Terrifier.

Hey if your movie can make people faint and vomit at this day and age then you’re a genius cause there isn’t a lot left in horror genre that would actually scare people nowadays…
And no the saw scene from the first movie is still the most shocking scene ever and I just saw the second one
I feel so happy for these guys tbh because specially for the filmmaker for all the effort he put in the movies showing that it's not really necessary to have a big amount of money to make an unforgettable movie. I loved both films Art the Clown will be in a near future a classic slasher character.

Fantastic really Damien and his team getting lotta buzz and getting recognized through word of mouth instead of huge budget. whatever they do, don't change, keep it extreme and creative cuz it's different than anything else in horror these days.

This guy Is awesome and a genius creator. He is bringing revolutionary film making to the horror genre in my opinion. I see some haters say he's deprived but those people are literally close minded and weak minded. Their puny brains can't grasp the greatness of this guy's gore and creativity. Jerry O’ Connell was in Stand By Me too which was based on Stephen King’s story The Body. This character Art is so fascinating and disturbing and hilarious. Loved Terrifier and 2 and I don’t even like gore. So cool to know Art crashing the tricycle was an outtake. Was one of my favorite parts from Terrifier. Needed the comic relief from the disgust lol
@Mariana D'Amelio definitely not. the whole point of the movies is the extreme gratuitous gore. when you think the camera is going to cut away because “no they definitely cant show that”, the camera focuses on it even more

I will be honest I did not watch the first Terrifier but I saw that the second one was on and I only made it through to the beginning of Allie’s death. I gave up I couldn’t do it, I was just not strong enough, the brutality of the opening kill was just something I should’ve just shut off, I am here to get to know the creative team behind it because I’d rather focus on that then focusing on the movie.

Saw Terrifier 2 during opening weekend. Regal has two shows in one theater. Amazed by the positive response from UK and European horror fans here. Does this mean the umbrella was lifted from that BBC Committee? Plus, no one in that UK audience asked about Art’s sidekick, The Pale Girl lol! 😈🤡🔪
The film hadn't released in the UK until the day after this Q&A. I'd seen it at the world premiere but barely anyone else in the audience had, so I didn't want to spoil anything

Pale girl is a girl Emily that was killed, and demon that heals and revives Art is disguised as her, not really much story as you see

I’ve seen every scary movie (being that im born on Halloween 🤷🏼♀️) and I just went and saw the movie last night and my only complaint is it should of been Sooo Much more edited at the end ..it was drawn out for at least 30 Min to long ..it started to get just ridiculous…the chic coming back to life in the water ..just should of never happened ..and the little girl was hella creepy …something bout dead kids always has a scary touch to any movie
