I feel like this is the perfect example of why the DR platform isn't for everyone and does not fully represent the full spectrum of this artform. La Kahena really did appear outclassed in this specific format, but I also really loved hearing her confessionals and her descriptions were very interesting to me. I would enjoy her hosting a UA-cam show with a similar format of just her talking about things she has opinions about looking fab in her version of drag. I especially loved her scorpion motif I felt it could be explored so much more if she had her own show!
I think Lemon just didn't wanted to be teasing people from day one, she's trying to play nice so she probably can benefit from the beaver in the future or if production bring some kind of f*cking voting like they seem to love to do on all stars. And playing with those 2 wouldn't be that smart, Alexis obviously would survive the lipsync, be in the top in one of the next episodes (because she always do good on drag race) and fuck her up if she had the chance. So, in a way, it was smart to play fair, Alexis didn't deserve to lipsync, Kahena and Eureka did.
What an AMAZING first episode. Lemon and Alexis KILLING IT, the drama, Kennedy's comments, everything perfect! And how refreshing is to see a lipsync for your life in a season like this. Best decision ever.
Literally I opened the video just to watch the challenge, the runway and the lipsync, because I didn't like the casting, but when I saw the drama during the deliberation of the queens, specially Kennedy's "Ray Charles saw that, and he's blind and dead" and Fiercalicious starting drama, I couldn't help but watch the whole thing. There's good queens on the cast and they bring the drama, but it feels repetitive. Kennedy and Alexis are og's and classics, they always deliver everything and more, but some queens aren't like that, have nothing new to show and I'm waiting for them to prove me wrong.

She did not deserve a bottom placement on her track record.

I kinda feel sorry for her in France drag it's not a business as mainstream as in America canada or the UK so I feel like she doesn't have the kind of resources Americans, Canadians and English have.
She had an entrance, confessional, recording, writing, dancing, lip-sync, and runway to show that she's a contender. She was the weakest on all fronts besides maybe confessional. Incredibly likeable, though. As an international, double porkchop, she will get plenty of opportunities if she wants them.
She's not RuPaul, but cmon, Brooke Lynn is a Miss Continental, practically won her season besides from the last lipsync and would put up a good fight lipsyncing against anyone from the cast. What I think is weird is Nicky Doll judging queens, for example hahahah.

Brooke did much better than both Alexis and Kennedy on her season. She has bested them on drag race and she has bested them in the pageant scene. They are losing drag race for the 4th time and 3rd time respectively while Brooke is judging her sixth season of the show. They are not on the same level.

I kinda feel sorry for her in France drag it's not a business as mainstream as in America canada or the UK so I feel like she doesn't have the kind of resources Americans, Canadians and English have.
She had an entrance, confessional, recording, writing, dancing, lip-sync, and runway to show that she's a contender. She was the weakest on all fronts besides maybe confessional. Incredibly likeable, though. As an international, double porkchop, she will get plenty of opportunities if she wants them.

She's not RuPaul, but cmon, Brooke Lynn is a Miss Continental, practically won her season besides from the last lipsync and would put up a good fight lipsyncing against anyone from the cast.
What I think is weird is Nicky Doll judging queens, for example hahahah.

Brooke did much better than both Alexis and Kennedy on her season. She has bested them on drag race and she has bested them in the pageant scene. They are losing drag race for the 4th time and 3rd time respectively while Brooke is judging her sixth season of the show. They are not on the same level.

I’m so sorry but why isn’t anyone talking about La Kahena?? I agree that her energy was low and the synergy with her group was kinda lacking but she embodied the hell out of that lip sync imo. Plus we’ve seen Eureka and Alexis morethan enough now. They’re awesome entertainers but they need to step away at some point… I love this cast but not a great start for the season… We NEED more riginal queens like La Kahena iin our screens. So proud of her…

On any other all stars she wouldve gotten the chop too... She brought no energy to the challenge, brought lackluster signature drag and lip synced against a queen who gave face, emotion, and levels. Sucks she went home but this was a great epsiode. Plus why save a queen who is going to end up in the bottom again next episode

omg, at first i had my doubts about this cast, but I'm so happy to see Kennedy, Alexis and Eureka back, and also i fell in love with La Kahenna and Le Fil, i haven't watched their seasons but they seem great, and i love me some Canadian girls, love them all

I always come back to this first episode, because hearing Kennedy so excited about being a Dad literally makes me tear up every time. The parents we need in the world, truly. No one is more deserving, we've seen how well she treats her family & takes care of them. I can't imagine the love that child is going to feel from the first second.
