Stunning video !!! Beautiful bridges and highways !!! Very nice old photos of the old Pittsburg !!! Great stuff ! I hope that there will be another one video on the fly from Pittsburg !!
I visited Pittsburgh this July. On a Saturday at 1:30pm that bridge shown at 3:26 was jam packed. You went on a Wednesday. Even at the time you went over it in this video, (10am), 10 on that Sunday I went, it was packed.
As a local, I'm pleasantly surprised to see so many Pittsburgh-vicinity videos! Although we're considerably less populous than many of the large metro areas you visit, our unique geography does give us an interesting - some would say antiquated - road system :) After decades of decline, we are growing again though.
@ScrewdUPClickV2 Thanks, I was shocked the first time I saw that bridge under the bridge, it's been there a good 6-7 years. I'm told it will be replaced in the next few years.
I watch a lot of your road vids but never one as odd as this one. It's normal, but the song that's playing is one of my favorites, and it was posted THE day of my birthday. November 13. Weird, huh. lol
The Greenfield Bridge will be demolished in December 2014, and a new bridge built in its place. They will demolish it the week after Christmas, when commuter traffic is light. PA 28 is in the process of being widened and upgraded to a limited-access highway between I-279 and Millvale. Because of the tight right-of-way (cliff on one side, railroad on the other) and the design of nearby bridges, it will be a low-speed highway (50 MPH) with left-lane exits and dedicated emergency pull-off areas.
@2007markb It's not ME, it's youtube "Note, the video may not be available on all devices due to copyright or licensing issues." sorry, nothing I can do about it.
@freewayjim - I never noticed that before. I've been able to watch all of your other videos thus far. Guess I'll have to figure things out on how else to watch this. I'm sure it's a great video
@2007markb There is a switch I can click on in some cases to make it available for mobile devices if need be (some naturally are available) but for some reason it won't give me that option for this video :(
Which is worse... Parkway East, Parkway West, or I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) from the PA TPK in King of Prussia through Philadelphia to the Walt Whitman Bridge?

Also that Saturday there was a parade and two main streets were closed down.

monoceros1222 Pittsburgh is a very interesting place and one of my favorite cities.
Pittsburgh has an awesome history, I use those photos when applicable.
Time to make a new video, everything along the side of the road has significantly changed since then.

@fiero2 Thanks, I have two more coming from the area, which will make 9 Pittsburgh videos in all from this summer's trip.

I didn't know that I-76 used to be the now-designated I-376.

I live in Dalton, Georgia and I take a bunch of road videos in my area myself. Check them out if you want.
