hey Nick GTSY why dont you invent a frame that you can hang the heavy bag from that has supports along the walls of the room but centers the bag eliminating vibrations to beams and add rubber bushing disks at the bottom of the supports to reduce ground vibes. arc shaped overhead supports would be ideal for maximum strength and hang the bag from springs to add upper play as well as an optional bottom clip attached to the floor spring to stop lower bag movement . it could be done for less than or close to the total cost of the bob dummy and would give more people the heavy bag option good luck
They should create a Full Body Bob Dummy....don't know why they haven't thought of that. The bob dummy has been around for decades. Why they haven't manufactured one is my guess.
I train kickboxing and I just bought the bob that has legs and have been using it for about 3 weeks now. I always used heavy bags for many years. I really like having an actual target to hit instead of having to mentally pretend where the face and legs would be.
The heavy bag develops power and footwork all around the entire circumference of the heavy bag itself utilizing all weapons and the Bob dummy is dealing with frontal assault involving the Centerline working on Precision strikes two specific targets as well as fast twitch muscle fiber attacks! It is a no brainer that they are both awesome!
I have both bags too. I use Bob for kicks like front snap under the chin or on sternum. Still a beginner (purple belt), but I’ve noticed my kicks are getting much better.
I’ve had both. Only reason I donated my BOB was because it scared the hell out of us whenever we walked into the garage. Other than that it was convenient l especially for pinpointing hits. For me, the heavy bag straps wore out over time.

You can always get one of those Muay Thai thigh pads and put it around the post so you can practise leg kicks
Thanks, gonna fix it
Hi! Loved this video, really appreciate it. Can you tell me where online can I buy the heavy bag?

I’m sure you could wrap some padding around the base of the BOB to practice low kicks. Easy peasy.
We need Bob with legs
Yes, you can use low kicks on the Bob XL. Just lower it a little on the height. Btw you can use literally any kick on it
I want a Bob Dummy
I like both. I put a taekwondo olympic sparring protector on Bob and it gives it more resistance
I live in an apartment. Will the Bob dummy still be too noisy? I don't want my neighbors to have to hear me working out
Add a few matts under it, and it should be ok, but fill it up with sand
Professional explanation!
Where are his arms?
BoB can actually get kicked. With highkicks, sidekicks and frontkicks. I used it alot at the time i started TKD to get better kick precision
There is a stand up heavy bag
Does Bob move at all with sand in it ?
It still does a bit, but a lot less than water
I believe they are called Wing Chun wooden dummy not kung fu? 🤔
Woah haven’t seen this channel in like 7 years it really died off
Yeah! But I’m still making videos.
