Well I'm from middle east county and whenever we have protests against government same thing happens. We got used to it. These are 3 parties paid by the government in our case to cause trouble so they can end the protests

@@tidakada7357 The origins of the settlers don't change the nature of the occupation. Colonialism isn't just about where people come from; it's about the domination and exploitation of one group over another. In this case, it's the systematic oppression and displacement of Palestinians.
Apartheid is just one aspect of it, but the broader picture is clear: it's a colonial project. When one group seizes land, resources, and rights from another, it's colonialism, plain and simple. The fact that most Israelis are from the Middle East or North Africa doesn't absolve them of this reality.
War crimes are war crimes, and no amount of historical context can change that.

If there is no mother country far away to colonize on behalf of, and if you’re digging up your own culture’s ancient artifacts in the same place you are supposesdly colonizing, if these colonized people have subjugated you for hundreds of years and now you’re oppressing them in the same region - that hardly fits the model of colonization. None of that fits The colonization of Australia India South America North America or Africa. Nor Of the Romans in the British Isles. It is much more like regional fighting, immigration and competing nationalisms.
I don’t recall the Navajo forcing ancient Europeans to wear humiliating costumes in public and live under Jim crow type of system for hundreds of years as Middle Eastern Arabs did to Middle Eastern Jews. Finally, generations of Israelis have already been born in Israel and most of them have at least one relative who was there before the Nakbah. We can put all crimes at the feet of israel post 67, we can condemn their wars and pogroms, but that doesn’t mean people already born in a place , with a now cohesive, complete society and infrastructure in it are still essentially settlers. The elephant in the room here as well - which doesn’t justify israel’s crimes -is how we are pretending that the arabs would not oppress the jews ( i done say annihilate, just oppress) in their midst if they got the upper hand - even before the 48 war. That doesn’t make it right but that does not fit the colonialism analogy either.
@@tidakada7357 You're really stretching here. Colonialism isn't just about a "mother country" far away. It's about power, control, and exploitation. Israel, backed heavily by Western powers, fits this definition. Digging up ancient artefacts doesn't give a free pass to displace and oppress people living there now.
Your historical comparisons also miss the point. Oppression is oppression, no matter who did what centuries ago. Bringing up past injustices doesn't justify current ones. And the fact that generations of Israelis have been born there doesn't change the reality of ongoing displacement and occupation of Palestinians.
Also, speculating about what "the Arabs" might do if roles were reversed is just a diversion. We should focus on the injustices happening now. The fact is, Palestinians are living under an oppressive regime, stripped of their land and rights. That's colonialism and apartheid, plain and simple. It doesn't matter how you try to dress it up.

Lex Friedman has my respect because he interviews people that Ben Shapiro would not. Like this gentleman here. Especially as a Jewish man it speaks volumes about your character. The Arabic word for crescent is Al Hilal هلال . The same word is also used for praise. It is the same word used in Hebrew word “ Hallelujah” and also Hebrew “Hillel “ הלל.
