If Aaron ever sees this, this concert was the last time my father and I were together on this earth. Playing the videos helps me reconnect with him. In all the ways we were different your music was a common thread between us. You were able to bring us together in the last decade of his life. Thank you
God damn man, right in the feels! My kids are 15 and 12 and they grew up on aaron lewis and staind. At the age of 35 on my bday in march I found out I have cancer. I hope some day my boys can look back at Aaron's music and smile and remember the times we sang at the top of our lungs. The songs we listened to going hiking every weekend. The times we shared every day.
@@rgman2858 My dad died 2017 may 16 a day after his birthday from a heart attack. He was 57. Im 38 now and my son is 8 and Ive been married to my high school sweet heart for over 16 years. This exact concert was the last time my dad and I were together and I think it was in January... 4-5 months later he died. My son has little memory of him, other than pictures. Make the memories while you can. Our kids are our ticket to immortality. I hope you survived the bout you had. And if not I hope your loved ones hold a deep loving memory of you my friend!!! till valhalla!!!
This is, in my opinion, one of the best covers Aaron does! It’s so different from the original in a good way. He always puts his razzle dazzle on songs 🙂
Saw him in Birmingham, AL. He played this song. It was just him, intoxicated with his acoustic and nothing else. He played the song without the spoken intro but right before the line he stopped playing and said “this is the most amazing line ever written in music and it’s more than special to me” then he sang it with so much understandable emotion
As many times as I've heard this song I always wonder if that lady got her text message. Was everything ok? Did she enjoy the show? Who is this lady? lol
I'm digging this style for the cover but, if I understand correctly, Dave would have smacked that Trump hat right off his head lol not an issue to me but funny to think about
Hey could make a living covering songs while drinking and smoking oh wait he does.. I'm almost 40 and been heavy into live shows... went and saw him a our local amphitheater this year and by far the best show ever
Aaron Lewis is amazing. I prefer the Foo version but that is a pretty killer twist. I've seen him twice and I like his hat. That ended with a period so keep your opinions to your damn selves.
I think Dave Grohl sings pretty damn good live. It's a lot raunchier and raw, but it's awesome and perfect for the Foo Fighters. He's a damn fine guitarist, but I'd never say he's one of the greatest. However being a good guitarist, and knowing how to make good music isn't necessarily synonymous.
I'm a singer. both guys are huge influences. both have similar styles and tendencies being post grunge. biggest difference is Aaron is a baritone. Dave is a tenor.
I'd just like to see the two collaborate. Dave Grohl is just all around an amazing musician, very rounded, and one who doesn't seem to have ever lost his passion for music. It also amazes me how Aaron can continue to put so much heart into his work, while seemingly constantly surrounded by obnoxious drunken idiots. I have to give it to them both. One of my all time favorite songs performed by one of my all-time favorite singers, and beautifully put together by everyone involved in my opinion.

I see this every time I come back to this song and I every time I appreciate it more thanks to you
Aaron can kick Dave's ass.
Aaron lewis could sing anything
This is, in my opinion, one of the best covers Aaron does! It’s so different from the original in a good way. He always puts his razzle dazzle on songs 🙂
Sell this damn cover song on iTunes already!!!
Set the play speed at 1.25.
I get it. The music tempo is fast but his singing is like perfectly timed
More like 1.5
Hells yeahz
Holy shit I love this cover Aaron Lewis can sing anything
The best godamn cover of this song I think I’ve ever heard. They should make a studio version.
*BLACK* no need to defend god. You shouldn’t believe such a high being to be so vain nor petty.

Which line?
I miss Staind
Can we get a studio version of this?
X Fighter aaron is better live
I wish girls cheered every time I spoke

you're welcome...
Why is theres always people screaming on random places APPRECIATE THE FUCKING MUSIC GODDAMMIT
AFL is my hero and gets me through these long days! This has always been my favorite song even when it wasn’t.
Shout out to the loser that didn’t know the song 😂
Like at good Aaron Lewis video it starts off with him throwing a tantrum and yelling at someone in the audience lol
As many times as I've heard this song I always wonder if that lady got her text message. Was everything ok? Did she enjoy the show? Who is this lady? lol
If you don't want your song turned into a decent country tune don't let him sing it.
I was there! Thank you for sharing.
This guy has the most annoying fan base
David Lawson fuck off
i think he means... every live song you watch there's loud obnoxious people while he's trying to pour his heart out.
Yeah.....It's called ALCOHOL.
Sorry we don’t go to see the local Orchestra. Fucker.
TJ Pace I think you’re proving his point
Wow, this really fucking works and is so cool.
Rob Ellis indeed. He’s so awesome.
RIP TAYLOR!!!
love his music 🎶
Nothing uplifting about Aaron's music
its meh without the guitar part, that is basically the song......
A Trump supporter? Would have never guessed.
I wish anything would ever be this great again, time after time
What can this guy **NOT** sing????
Wow, he made a Foo Fighters song into a Staind song. Incredible.
❤ Aaron Lewis ❤ Any cover, and day ❤
This guys the goat at covers
Anyone happen to know what tuning he is using?
Charles Hiegel the song is played in drop D
Almost everything Aaron plays is Drop D
Andrew Fatalo correction, it's usually drop C#/Db or Eb Standard. But Im not sure what key he plays this in, so Drop D could still be right.
Songs in D C flat his usual tuning for most songs
Excellent,
thanks for sharing !
Damn! It’s a bad ass rock song by Foo and an amazing romantic song too!!! Great job A.Lewis
His hat: Trump for President. LOVE IT!!
That was possibly the best cover ever. Chills. A Lewis is epic! Staind 2001- now!
Jon Pike staind 1996-forever
If by best, you mean gayest, then yes.
sfer1 haha. Coming from the gayest looking dude. ✌️❄️
I loooove the foo fighters and I love Aaron Lewis! This is amazing. 💕
you got a good spot... I had family so couldnt fight the crowd and we were upstairs sitting above everyone in top secret spot lol
God!! wait until Dave hear this ❤️❤️👍
Where was this at?
I'm digging this style for the cover but, if I understand correctly, Dave would have smacked that Trump hat right off his head lol not an issue to me but funny to think about
Not sure Dave Grohl is smacking anything of A Lewis head, but I certainly get ur point n it’s prob a good one.
Dave wouldn’t do shit…like most liberals. Only in a mob.
Amazing cover
Much like another Aaron Lewis and how someone commented... This sounds better at 1.25x speed
Hey could make a living covering songs while drinking and smoking oh wait he does.. I'm almost 40 and been heavy into live shows... went and saw him a our local amphitheater this year and by far the best show ever
Beautiful men
I'll NEVER STOP! I SWEAR TO GOD ABOVE! C Ellis FIND ME!
I❤AARONLEWIS
Thank you for sharing......excellent video.....love this man...Ben and rest of band..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This cover is beyond exceptional
Which line is he referring to
Breathe out, so I could breathe you in… hold you in
Amazing cover!
i wonder what that best line ever is?
i would like to know too
“Breathe out, so I can breathe you in”
I was there when he made up a song on stage! Awsome!!!! Well at least most of it in 99" Outside!!!! Super great show, everyone was spot on!!!!
Is it just me or does anyone else hear Usher - Burn when theyre playing the chords at the beginning
Cool cap..that should be Aaron Lewis / Staind merch
He should’ve played the riff himself
This is deep. So rich. Really good my friend.
HOW AM I JUST KNOWING ABOUT THIS COVERR
I'm sure Dave Grohl likes this.
Amazing!!!

I agree
Could you even listen to something better?
This was the best show I've ever been to.
beautiful music I love it
🥀Beautiful Song🥀☝️
Awesome!!!! ❤
What line was he talking about though?
He says here it is, "breathe out, so I can breathe you in, hold you in"
🙏💃💃💃💃💃💖🌹😎
amazing
Perfetto
👱🏻♀️❤️💯💋
I hate FB Cuz I'm was too private, but my son doesn't! I'm talking to you in riddles! C Ellis
Aaron is awesome, Staind is my favorite band but I like Foofighters version much better.
which line was he talking about
Peace "Breathe out so I can breathe you in, hold you in"
thanks man!
I wish Dave Grohl could sing as well as Aaron could. Dave is undeniably one of greatest guitar and drum players but singing live is his weakness.
Yossaporn A. Uhh...ok

Aaron is above this song
Wow way better than the original
No way. Nobody does it better than Dave Grohl.
@@yvonnejohnston9946 he did
Aaron cant hold a candle to dave.
