Acoustic Aaron Lewis shows are the best. Covers, country, Staind, and stories from an original Rock n Roll star stripped down to just a voice and an acoustic guitar that send chills thru your body the whole show.
I stopped using fentanyl in February 2019 and still clean today. This song is the best example of what my bottom was like. This song reminds me of the feeling of knowing it was finally done I couldn't do it anymore 😢. Thank you for putting it in a song helps ❤️
I used to listen and sing this album while I was detoxing from heroin. Been clean now for 7 years. Congrats to you keep going life only can get better! I can't imagine fentanyl withdrawal. From what I know it's much worse. Always happy to hear others recovery stories and successes.
LOVE seeing comments like this! I have been clean for just a few months now. I had lost literally everything but my life (thank goodness) my job, car, kids, house....I lived in a tent in the new England winter and I finally woke up one day and said "I don't want to do this anymore,I'm done" and I have been done since then. I start my new job Monday morning I have a roof over my head, and I see my children daily. Above all else, my kids deserve better than a junkie for a parent, or even worse a dead mother. So proud of you!
Every time you hear a Aaron Lewis song you just stop and listen to each word. When it’s over you wish it wasn’t. The man is a true patriot and loyal American.
Its so weird seeing him i grew up with him when we were younger. Never in a million years id thought id be watching him in concert and whatnot. Been long time since we talked he had just hit it and called me while he was on the road with korn
Truth. I feel all the feels. His words seem to be picked from my troubled soul. He is truly one of my heroes. This man knows pain. Understands it and knows others like me feel pain too. Kindred soul. I love this man and his mind. A beautiful mind. And heart.
Mine too. I've grown up with him. Loved him since I found my love for music. He and his music, has been my ride or die so many times!!! Xxoo to Aaron Lewis!
Dude, this song finally gave my son and I a proper diagnosis of ADHD for both of us and treatment instead of self medicating and if this cost a million, so be it, we owe you a million because this song changed our lives!! Seeing you at Rockville with Staind was beyond breathtaking and can't wait to see Aaron in Coconut Creek in March! Would love to have beers and other party favors with him of various types or otherwise because he epitomizes Us, and our glorious Nation that we Love so Yeah, As a retired Marine of Iraq and Afghanistan, I just feel honored that Aaron Lewis, as a public figure, stands for everything we fought for. We need more of him because he represents US!!
People always say Music is the Soundtrack to life or how a song, "saved" someone's life? Well, Aaron Lewis's/Staind's music is the the soundtrack of my life and I honestly Don't know if I'd have made it 44 years without their songs, especially ones like this. Thank you, Sir.
Aaron Lewis is the man. I've been watching him age over the years but he will never get old to me. His music has always and will always play my heart strings. Wish I could find a man kind of like him.
Once of the best concerts I've been too... Someone threw dog tags on stage and he played with them on his guitar for a couple songs... One of the best environments.. I bought a shirt from the concert and constantly get complimented on it.. he's a legend
I remember buying stainds first album on military leave in 99 because Fred Durst discovered them at that time, their songs were raw on the first album 🤘🏾
I got goosebumps listening to this. Aaron Lewis is one of the most underrated solo artists out there today. I know this song is from his time in Staind, but the man has so much fucking talent riding solo.
This is my Brother's (who is also my best mate) favourite song.. it makes me cry listening to it, cause I know all of his pain and the shit he goes through everyday (the kinda stuff that not even the biggest mix bowl fixes).. praying for better days.. but this music helps..we are huge fans of Staind and of you Aaron. Thank you so much for the music.
I met Aaron in Tampa, Florida. Got my picture with him and hung out backstage with him in 2013. He is and was a simple person with a love for his music and fans. What a guy!
I saw this guy when he still was front man for Staind at an amphitheater venue with Shinedown and Papa Roach. His vocals are still just as amazing as they were then
A huge group of us saw the same tour, by the time they got to us Papa Roach had to cancel a couple shows, it was a bummer, but Staind absolutely killed it!
Ive recently discovered Aaron , a man... with his guitar and such a RAWsome voice full of emotions of highs and lows . A great story teller in his songs. 💛🙏 Caroline
Omg he is out on a great show tonight in Deadwood South Dakota omg it was the best Aron Lewis put on the best show to concert I have been to in a long time I love staind
It kind of broke my heart a little when Aaron Lewis went country. He's from my home town and I've actually met him before. Where were from def ain't country. Lol. But in all honesty, Break The Cycle epitomized alot of what I was going through at the time of it's release. That album meant the world to me. Still does in many ways. To this day, Epiphany brings me to tears. I realize it's about Aaron's struggle with ADD, but I don't care. It meant more to me than that. Before I found out the meaning behind the song I had already created my own vision for it and I maintain that vision as we speak. It's gut wrenching, raw, and pure emotion. I will always love this song and that album. It dug a tiny hole inside my precious heart and that's where it will remain forever.
Hard to believe this video never made shit! I watch it frequently. One of my favorites. His show at the Red Rock Casino in Vegas was awesome and looking forward to the upcoming show in Vegas with Godsmack and Staind!
Still sound amazing.. just as good as when he started! I love this song, the lyrics he writes are so on point. A legend. Would give anything since 7th grade in 98 to meet him back stage.. haha UA-cam us as close as I can get!
As an addict I have been up n down for years this song rocks me to my core I'm clean since January 2023 from alcohol and heroin/ Fentanyl I have a great woman who has stood beside me and now people are starting shit trying to break me an even worse break her an I UP WHICH I FEEL LIKE SHE IS DONE WITH ME I PRAY TO GOD SHE ISNT I know ive done wrong an I have put her THROUGH HELL AN BACK BUT SHE'S NEVER LEFT MY SIDE SHE'S BEYOND AMAZING BUT I FEEL IM LOSING HER AN MY MIND I JUS WANNA LAY DOWN AND DIE 💔🥺 I LOVE HER SO MUCH AND I THANK GOD FOR HER EVERYDAY!!!! I HATE MYSELF AT TIMES MORE THAN USUAL AND I FEEL IM LOSING HER AND IM LOSING MY MIND I HAVE MAJOR MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS!!! PLEASE THROW A SMALL PRAYER UP FOR ME /US AND FOR HER THROW A HUGE PRAYER UP SHE NEEDS IT DEALING WITH ME I LOVE U BABE PLEASE GOD WRAP YOUR ARMS AROUND US 🙏🙏🙏! 💔🙏I KNOW I DON'T DESERVE HER SHES AN ANGEL 😇 AND SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN MY CORNER!!! 😢 I DON'T WANNA LOSE HER!! THX
Prying for you both! Also, very proud of you to get clean, fantastic achievement! I wish the best for the two of you and hope you have a blessed lifetime together!
Wasn’t for nothing… made me a life long fan and I’m sure I’m not the only one. The song made me a fan, the video gave it the exposure for me to find the song.
I went to a Three Doors Down concert way back. They had Staind open for them. As a whole, incredible. I think it was Right Here Waiting, but Aaron did an acoustic song. And I just sat and cried. I've loved him since. That voice man.
I went to a show on that tour. Such a beautiful experience! My dad & I looked at eachother soon as he began singing & both of us had goosebumps & simultaneously said something about how awesome it was to be there! 💖
It did way more for me that he or anyone else will ever know. This is the first time I've listened to this song in over a decade and the lyrics take me back to a time that haunts my dreams and I'm choking back tears just to make this comment. Still can't listen to the whole thing
Aaron, never believe that this song and video never did shit because that is and always be a lie...... It is and always will be one of my favorite songs and videos of all times 🤩
Damn, I have to say the video for this song is absolutely amazing. The fact it isn't doing more is because the people haven't seen it enough yet. I find the whole thing to be so inspiring and uplifting, but sad and lonely at the same time. It reminds of the spiritual realm and the beauty of children, destiny, overwhelming mystery. I watch it at least a few times every week bud. But yeah, for a million bucks, we could have done something right behind my rural home for about 100 and a go pro. lol For real, maybe next time hire out your video work and save that dough. Fiverr maybe. I never have understood the need for a huge production budget when all I want to see is what is real. No cgi, no fakery. Just a damn good story and the visuals that naturally come along with it. That's just me.
Ive known Stained for the songs played on the radio, not really a fan!! Saw them Labor Day weekend open for Godsmack and was blown away!!! Have downloaded the albums but Epiphany is by far my favorite!!!

I agree 100%!

Keep it up, you got this!
Hey that’s great and I hope you’re still doing good.

Aaron Lewis will forever be one of my all time favorite singers.
Without a doubt, he as awesome!
What a time to be alive
I feel like he sounds beautiful no matter what genre he sings.
Man just something about this guys music man it’s so truthful, and real. The emotion and passion he puts into the songs makes you feel the music.
I couldn't agree more!
The voice is so GOOD!!!!!
Its so weird seeing him i grew up with him when we were younger. Never in a million years id thought id be watching him in concert and whatnot. Been long time since we talked he had just hit it and called me while he was on the road with korn

Aaron Lewis is my favorite singer. I have seen him 18 times now and this is my favorite song of his.
Mine too! That's awesome, it's hard to beat an Aaron show!
Ditto Ditto and Ditto!!!! LOL He is the best!
Love this guy 🇺🇲 , 1 of the ONLY Real Country Music Writers/Singers and just an amazing Patriot..the Voice of a LEGEND.
This is one of my favorite artists of all time right here... Just a genuine dude.
Mine too. I've grown up with him. Loved him since I found my love for music. He and his music, has been my ride or die so many times!!! Xxoo to Aaron Lewis!
Those vocals. No words. Aaron is so blessed he can smoke and sing like that at the same time. Impressive
His voice amazes me every time!
One of the most underrated popular Vocalists that I’ve ever heard! 🎶
I agree 100%!
He’s absolutely brilliant. You’re so correct
All these years later, this song still gets to me. I performed this at my grandfather's funeral in 2001.
Dude, this song finally gave my son and I a proper diagnosis of ADHD for both of us and treatment instead of self medicating and if this cost a million, so be it, we owe you a million because this song changed our lives!! Aaron is the definition of a true artist. There aren't many of them any more.
We agree!
I WILL WATCH IT OVER AND OVER, IN FACT, A MILLION OR MORE TIMES, TILL THE DAY I DIE
Aaron is so good, I can watch him all day as well!
Aaron Lewis is a man I respect immensely. He seems like a seriously genuine guy. A lot of cover songs- but I find the acoustic version best.
He is so down to earth and like you said, genuine. I can't wait for his next live acoustic cd!
Aaron Lewis is the man. I've been watching him age over the years but he will never get old to me. His music has always and will always play my heart strings. Wish I could find a man kind of like him.
His music connects with people like very few others can.
Ditto❤️
It's always raining in my head!!!
Once of the best concerts I've been too... Someone threw dog tags on stage and he played with them on his guitar for a couple songs... One of the best environments.. I bought a shirt from the concert and constantly get complimented on it.. he's a legend
That's very cool, truly one of the greats!
Thank you Aaron your so good I love that you speak ur mind and the truth God bless you and you aren't the only one.
I remember buying stainds first album on military leave in 99 because Fred Durst discovered them at that time, their songs were raw on the first album 🤘🏾
I agree, good times!
The only good thing Fred has done for music
Are you talking about tormented or dysfunctional?
Well, dysfunctional, so their second album, lol
I feel you brother!! Same here!
I got goosebumps listening to this. Aaron Lewis is one of the most underrated solo artists out there today. I know this song is from his time in Staind, but the man has so much fucking talent riding solo.
That's awesome and I couldn't agree more!
This song was on repeat for a long time. It still saves me
Till this day
Aaron Lewis you are a Hero of mine keep writing keep singing and I will sing along!
All these years and this song still hits me, seen it live so many times and still hits home... Great song writing hopefully catch him again
