Deathcore when you mad.
Metalcore when you glad.

But listening to metalcore will make u sad or cry
Or just metal all the time
Deathcore when you work.
Deathcore when you sleep.
Deathcore when you bored.
Deathcore when you drink.
Deathcore when you think.
But metal core is for emo kids... when are they ever glad??

So glad someone else picked up on that !
Finally someone else noticed it too
Okay, I'm glad y'all noticed that as well. I was watching like, how the fuck is he doing that.

Metalcore sounds like blissfulness while Deathcore sounds like angrily starting up motorcycle with an axe from Hell.
We just not gonna talk about how spooky 0:49 is
You're not wrong which is the best part, Hell by Slaughter to Prevail is a great example of that.
You described that perfectly
That was my favorite actually.
Nothing against deathcore, but sometimes it just sounds like someone rapidly sliding their hand down a vent.
The drum machine is a turn down for me.
does it blow anyone elses mind that this kid can scream, play guitar, drums, everything? he'd make a dope solo artist lol
No, that's actually how all musicians should be.
Yoga, I disagree with you on that. I mean, all musicians should have at least basic understanding of all the instruments they work with in bands and all that, but I would prefer a good guitarist with basic understanding than an OK guitarist that's slightly under OK on everything else. On top of that , pretty sure Jared isn't your everyday friendly neighbourhood musician, you know?

some of those metalcore riffs were pretty damn good tbh
Kyle Howard yeah but not heavy enough for me
@@marshall170 i didnt say heavy i said good. Heavy doesnt always mean its good. Then again its entirely up to the listeners taste so it varies for everyone. Either way enjoy 👍🍻

Brutal Death Metal cute
1:03 I swear on my life... that's probably the best riff I've ever heard. Wtf!!! 🙆♂️💥
1:19
2:04
My 2 favorite genres going at it. I love metalcore because of the melodic yet sometimes complex riffs. However, I love deathcore because of the heavy and brutal sound.
Metalcore - the knight
Deathcore - the butcher
Pick your fighter!!!
@林靖涵 f3 ref i see u!
Metalcore.
Love them both but Metalcore for me,its my fav genre of metal or music in all
Butcher
I like both of them but well, i'm on the metalcore's side
So basically deathcore is basically he really dark version of metalcore.
With more complex riffs
considering deathcore is metalcore with death metal influences, and death metal is metal taken to a darker and general more complex place, yeah.
They're the same thing. But the more creative and specific you're claimed genre name is, the more metal credits you get.
Really depends. Most deathcore bands sound boring and the same. deathcore mostly is chug chug bree! Honestly most top tier metalcore bands are more complex than top tier deathcore bands. That's the truth. Plus a lot of people who name good deathcore bands aren't even deathcore like the faceless, dahlia murder, rings of Saturn etc
Griffith Griffith I find Infant Annihilator to be the greatest possible balance between amazing smash riffs and sick ass melodies all wrapped up in a disgusting package and topped with a bow made of gnarly vocals. Idk who’s more deathcore tho, Femto or Wolf Form Guts 🤔
My favorite riff is 1:03 GODDAMN THAT'S GOOD!
Omg I know I was about to cry it was so good 😿

What is the name of this song?

Thrash Metal VS Heavy Metal ?
thrash wins
Isn't thrash just a sub genre of heavy?
+slade Kayastha Heavy and Thrash are the sub genre of metal.
+JunaiTV thrash derives from heavy which derives from metal...
This needs to happen now!
That shadows confuse me... HOW THE FUCK DO THEY CROSS THROUGH?!
Naive Dreamer really though XD
Naive Dreamer he filmed both scenes as full shot (like you are seeing in the video only with one jared at a time) and hypermixed into one another
Oran's Take Over doesn't explain how the overlapping shadows are darker. Has to be an editing effect
that is because of a contrast effect
SOMEONE ELSE HAS THE SAME QUESTIONS AS ME
I'm just saying I seen this video when it was first posted been a fan for a while and to this day I still come back to watch these videos as well as specifically the riff at 2:05 that goddamn riff gets me going man way too good
Funny how he's wearing the shirt for both of the bands that come to my mind the second I hear metalcore vs deathcore
I love both. I love how damn fucking heavy and disturbing deathcore riffs are, but i also really really love how melodious a metalcore riff can sound, like at 1:03

In witch songs can i hear this riff???? Or do you know how it is called? Sorry for my bad english :)
Итачи Учиха no idea bro
This is like one of the best videos I've ever seen, not simply coz these two are my favorite metal subgenres. At the risk of sounding ancient 😅🙈 with regard to video effects, how exactly did he make two versions of himself appear simultaneously and ever so seamlessly? 🤔
I used to watch it 5 years ago when I was unable to speak English and leave a comment. Now I can say '-core' humor is awesome and the video is full of it. Thanks for performing! :)
0:57 my mans on the left is my mom when the bluetooth connects in my car and my playlist starts.

I am most impressed how the shadows merge into eachother... after effects or just smart editing Jared?
+Zyks Nys there's 2 jareds and 2 independent light sources. physics is a lie, jared is the truth.
+Zyks Nys Basically, just mashing the videos on top of each other
+Zyks Nys Jared must have freed his evil twin brother from the attic.
Theolppoman I thought that first too by masking one part out.. But that would ruin the shadows merging if I am correct. So I think Matt Petermann his theory is right. Actually it's weird that the video blows my mind more than the audio in this video haha.
I too am more perplexed and intrigued by how he managed to get the shadows to merge and interact more than the music. Must have good editing software. That's awesome.
Don’t really see anyone talk about killswitch too often or rep their merch. So it’s nice to see a youtuber I like doin it

I'm more impressed on how did he make the shadows work like there was actually two people there. I've always thought that when he did this kind of video he would just record both seperately and then put one on the right and another on the left, against a well lighted background the cut in the middle usually goes unnoticed, but how did he make the shadows "fuse" with each other in the middle?
+MrBX5 ive heard of some people just mounting a tripod and recording the same spot and than they just layer the two videos on top of each other, i dont remember how they do it but my friend showed me a while ago and its pretty neat
He probably used a green screen with lighting coming from the front
+InASpiralState I'd say he recorded two videos with the camera in the exact spot, and used layer masks to get them into one video
***** thats true, i think he might of used a green screen as well. we ll never know unless he tells us one day how he shoots his videos, which he should! -hint hint jared-
if you notice the shadow on the left it looks like its layered on top of the other shadow(so i assume the jared on the left was recorded last) i may be wrongxD only watched the video once lol
he was playing with his twin brother who can also play the guitar

Metalcore and Deathcore have their obvious differences, but the both of them are just as good for hitting the gym.
This is the very first Jared Dines videos i've actually ever watched, and i can't believe 7 years has been passed since then
I feel like the vocals would make a larger difference rather than the guitar style, because i would think some bands would use both guitar styles...
True. There's a lot of really melodic and catchy deathcore out there that doesn't get nearly enough due credit. They all might blend together, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love all of those tbdm and abrb clones.
not really they both can use same vocal style. and its not deathcore if it has no influence from deathmetal, and also grindcore, slam, tech death, black, etc. while metalcore is much different. bands get called deathcore just because no singing. when metalcore doesn't mean singing

When you're a pacifist but that one guy nobody likes walks in
Don't know if anyone deciphered the symbolism in this video, but the two genres are like: "They just can't stop comparing. Metalcore is being quiet and just watching while Deathcore is mocking on MCore, meaning that most Dcore fans hate Mcore because it's not as tough and rude as their genre. If you take a close look, while Dcore was playing his part Mcore was like "God forbid" saying that metalcore is fine with it's riffs and melodies and don't want to go that deep, also saying that most MCore fans don't like who DCore sounds. At the end of the vid, they both combine their styles to create a unique sound, being it a strong point to those that don't want to grow musically, like saying "stop your comparisons and enjoy the music". At least that's what I get from the video, although it was made to have fun.
