WOW, just super-WOW! I thought I'd be able to choose a favorite, a stand-out one but all of these creatures are MAGNIFICENT on its own! All of them have amazing patterns! I have a 70Gallon tank of Kois as well and they are looking amazing, too but would love to add more to get these types as well. That long, huge black one looked like a SUBMARINE whenever it passes the screen lol :D Love, love, love it! Koi outgrow fish tanks so quickly is their only negative. I had to dig a 2000 gallon koi pond in my backyard after my fish outgrew my indoor tank. So glad I did though! Now I have 8 beautiful koi that have plenty of room to grow.

Butterfly Koi are not Koi crossed with goldfish. Butterfly Koi are Koi with the long-fin gene of a species of long-fin Indonesian carp selectively bred in.
in my opinion they are best for lobbyist, not for business, they will be my choice… wish those good breeders could produce more w/ a longer fin & tails…….

Hello. None of the fish in this video are dead. This video was shot in the winter, when water temperatures were cold. The fish that you see is resting on the bottom, in a state of torpor.
Just my opinion but I've never liked these fish. Their fins are all tattered, split & droopy. To me they look sick, deformed & sloppy. Nevertheless beauty is in eye of the beholder. To each their own.
