Merry Christmas. My favorite Christmas toy memory (which I didn’t know happened till years later) was when my dad thought he was missing a part to the 1988 Dino riders T. rex set. My dad used to build my more advanced toys and leave them out under the tree so it looked like Santa built them (I was 5 at the time) but this particular time he thought he had an issue with missing parts. Apparently he was looking for this part for a few hrs and didn’t see so he drove back to toys r us to return the trex set and get a new one. He returned 2 diff ones before he finally found the part in the 3rd box. Turns out it was tapped to the under side of a small box which he never checked the first two times. I’m 90 percent sure this was on Christmas Eve and toys r us was about a 30 minute drive from may house. Needless to say it was a lot of effort to get that trex walking on Christmas morning. Amazing episode as well. One of the best!

Had that exact same tool box as a kid! I’ve seen other versions of it since, but mine was exactly the same as yours, had a lot of fun with that, I would have been just a tad older than you when I got mine though.

Growing up in 70s I never knew or heard of never getting the toy you wanted at Christmas it appears to be more a thing later in the 80s onwards , every toy I wanted as a kid I got 🤔

You are always inspiring to watch, I got teary eyed when you showed the wooden toy before you even got teary eyed haha I know that exact feeling, making Major Eraser as a kid to now he’s actually complete and a “real toy” it’s insane. I normally struggle to concentrate fully on anything a half hour long, but I was glued to this one all the way through. All the great stories, and the fantastic figure you've created, all of it was awesome!

I think tiny Theo's mind would be blown that his OG Mandroid was the catalyst for all this creativity, so sweet of your mum to keep hold of him. OG Mandroids head deserves a limited run, would make a sick keyring. This unlocked a memory with that old school deadly toolbox aswell 😂

Aaaah, Ghostbusters, such great memories, it premiered at the cinema in Norway in desember of 1984, and I was 10, the age restriction for the movie was 12! so it’s a double memory for me, both the most awesome movie I’ve ever seen with insane special effects, and also the first movie I managed to sneak into being too young (I was a tall kid) … funnily the next year, in november, mad max after thunderdome premiered in november, with a 16 year age limit … and now being almost 12 I got into that as well - good times :D

I do the same thing I make action figures out of paper and I will put it in a little container or something and stick it in my pocket and carry it around and I'll show it to everybody until I make a new one and then I'll do the same thing again.

Was it a happy accident Paul's "Theory Time" t-shirt said "Theo Time"?
Bill and his inexplicably high hair unlocked a horrible toy memory, I forgot all about Ralph 😂😂😂 his eye was on a string that pulled back in to the head. Terrified me at first, reached a grizzly end as I used to pull out the eye and swing him round my head, one day the cord snapped and that was that.

What a fantastic video, and I bet there weren't many dry eyes afer watching it! Very moving. I remember seeing the Eliminators trailer on TV and getting Mandroid confused with Robocop. There was genuine disappointment to see the latter had legs opposed to tank tracks, when I finally saw the RC movie. I don't think I ever did watch Eliminators, so I'll have to track it down! The characters are so cool and it's a hidden Gem, you should do a prana devil figure that would be so sick, hell even literally any character from that game, they're all cool.
