This is truly amazing! I’m planning to upgrade my bonsai tree aquarium (getting a bigger aquarium) and this is great help because of the amazing plant identification!

Love the use of words like "power" and "advanced" in the ADA branding, very clever 👏🏼

Thank you for the details from the plants identification, lighting period, substrate, etc. Many UA-camrs are here just to show off and get viewers/likes but do not spend the time to reach out to the larger audiences with thoughtful tips & tricks. You earned my subscription and gratitude. Your details will help me succeed in this hobby much longer.

Great stuff Dave. I remember in 2015 bringing back a piece of bonsai wood from Vietnam (whilst on honeymoon) and taking it in my backpack across Thailand and borneo. I used it in a 60L bonsai scape in 2016.... you have inspired me to do one again mate. Nice one

Appreciate the added commentary at the end. As someone that is new to the hobby it's always helpful to hear tips on what works well, especially lighting as that seems to be one of the most complex elements and unfortunately one of the easiest to screw up.

TDS is around 350, we have quite hard water! All fine for plant growth, CO2, good lighting and regular large water changes more important 😊👍

I have weeping moss attached to some spider wood and found that once it gets to a certain volume it decides it doesn’t want to weep anymore but looks amazing and of course the shrimp love it

Great video , and love the explanation at the end too very helpful. I know you have the Lily pipe and a powerful filter, but how come with such good flow your plants don’t get so bashed about . I have one 10x flow rate, and with the power head it seems to powerful, but with a spare bar it’s better but doesn’t circulate as well. (Fluval 307 canister. )
