Very fun video. You guys definitely gave it a beating. Crazy that you kept breaking steering links. On all my solid axle monster trucks, I've upgraded the links to metal ones. This is the first one I upgraded them and then went back to stock because they were way stronger and I haven't broken one on any of my 4 LMTs to this point, but I also don't drive them like they are an ARRMA. But...even running scale freestyle runs can break an axle with a wrong landing on a backflip...even on the 1:1 trucks. That's going to be a problem unless you upgrade to metal axle housing. Hopefully this video will convince people that they aren't built to run like a basher. Very few plastic solid axle trucks could take that kind of abuse without breaking something.
This is great feedback! To be fair we did not go into this video with scale in mind and very little knowledge about RC monster/Mega trucks. We definitely beat it like a basher. I think I need to fix this truck and try again. Also all the plans I had for this truck like monster trucking a line of slashes, jumping a row of slashes from a more scale ramp like the plastic ones from walmart (didn't have them) having a tug of war with another vehicle, taking it to a big hill climb, just didn't happen because of all the breakage in softer video runs. I got to the point where I was like "let's just send it because we only have one run left" GREAT COMMENT! Now I feel inspired to make another video of it!
@@BeachRC I liked the way you ran. I would have done the same. If I can't do that then this probably isn't for me and now I know because of your review. So keep up the great work 💪🙌
@@RCAdventuresAmsterdam very good point sir! That’s 1 reason I do play that way. When 12 year olds come into the store it’s hard to explain to take it easy with a 4s …
Glad I could help! We may have beaten it a little hard for a scale truck built like it is. First monster truck so I really didn't understand LMT's. I'm going to do a second video to give it a fair chance. Thanks for commenting!
Great video. The LMT is such a cool truck. It would be nice to attach some kind of deflector / bumper to the front axel. Something simple to absorb some of the shock.
Someone needs to learn how to drive an rc, I don't care what brand you guys get you run it into a park bench it's going to break, l have the losi LMT and only broken the wheelie bar, it's been a bad ass monstertruck!!!
Yea we like to bash RC cars because when a regular person comes in to the hobby side of RC usually they beat the crap out of their cars. I think I'm going to give this Mega truck another chance and do what monster trucks do.
I have been fairly rough with my LMT Gravedigger and i havent had many breakages. I have replaced the servo saver and the front axle with Treal parts. I also broke the wheelie bar but that is not a worry.
I've had mine for 3 days, put about 6-7 battery packs through it and a set of the premounted Proline demolishers. Fingers crossed i havent broke anything yet. Been into rc for, shoot, 20+ yrs now and I am having a blast with it.
That's because you probably are not trying to send it to the moon like on this video. You are probably driving it like you are supposed to 👍. Not like a basher.
i actually pre ordered this for offroad racing mudding an the beach honestly. i also have an lmt an just broke my servo recently an lower 4 link racing it
This new LMT continues all of issues from old LMT, just longer wheelbase, mud tires and body, no surprises and I don't understand why so many people are feeling high? WTF LOSI is what I think when I first seen this real truck, let’s upgrade Treal and more aluminums again!
You beat that thing like a red-headed stepchild! 😂 Lmao, that was great! Subscribed & liked! PS, it's not a basher It's a scale 1x1 monster truck. You need to set up a scale monster truck course and give it a go again. It's also a mud truck. Nothing wrong with getting wreckless, it shows those thinking about getting it as a basher that it's not built for bashing.
I won one of these in a raffle recently, I think it's gonna be a fun truck to rip around in mud and snow, maybe some sand and gravel at times... when weather would normally not have us driving our other RCs... I may pick up some spare front end and steering parts, and rod ends... and am debating some monster truck tires. We probably won't bash on it too much at first...but I'm sure in time we will end up breaking something...lol
This is definitely a cool rc but i dont think its meant for that type of abuse. Not all rc are bashers still though great video to point out the weakness if you were thinking of driving this auto like this...
Haha i knew it was going to snap axles. Common problem like losi lmt. aluminum axles and aluminum steering link will fix that. at least the shock rod ends stay together. That was big lmt problem too. 🤣 some improvement. It’s quick too more torque motor. I’m still going to get this and upgrade the axles. It just looks cool. Great bash great review. 👍
I'm gonna be honest and I saying that this truck is both designed for huge jumps. I feel the same way about my EXB MOJAVE. I drive it like I'm supposed to now (no huge jumps and trying to backflips) and it's fine now. This truck right here is designed for small jumps and to put it through mud and stuff. Just my 2 cents.
Damn man...I pre ordered one the day it dropped on Losi website paid in full...and I've got nothing a month later not truck no emails no tracking no spektrum discount code for the $70off...and Losi won't return emails or calls...
From my understanding there not shipping until some time in September. Only people I've seen with them are hobby shops or the small amount of people they send one to for UA-cam videos.
Must be nice to have all the money in the world to buy and build these trucks or to even have a store of these and parts and whatnot but sadly most of us will never be able to afford these in our lives.
I feel like you beat on this thing too hard. It's a mud truck, not a basher. Launching it into your garbage just seems a bit extreme. That's something you'd try with an X-Maxx or something similar.
As much as I love my lmt10 sun of a digger it’s not the most durable everything you broke I’ve broke and it doesn’t take a whole lot. You can’t treat it like you can some other Bashers for example arrmas they take everything but the lmt does not still a fun vehicle I do still love like just not as strong as I would like it to be
Just to have a little fun. It's not destroyed by any means. We own a hobby shop and website so nothing is ever destroyed. the truck is completely fixed and ready to go for round 2.
It literally says king sling right there on the side.. king sling.. it's not an xmaxx , kraton , etc.. it's a mega truck not a basher . Run it likes it's supposed to be and it'll do it's job .....smh

Have 2 lmt Grave digger and son of gravy digger I put on the aluminum axles on and bumpers

Will you be having LMT races on the indoor track?
No I don't think so.

Another great video!! ❤ 😘
thanks love
do you sell the leftovers?😉
Yes sir as soon as we fix it
does losi offer stronger up graded parts ?
I'm not to sure but I have heard that there are aftermarket aluminum parts
Its not a jumping vehicle for huge jumps, or to be bouncing off fences, and expect it not to be broken. Its made to have fun in the dirt and sand.

I can agree to that! Thanks for the comment!
Pinecone? But you are correct, I've never been to a monster truck event, good job on the video!
Dude that was a little extreme. Suicidal bashing kills most RC vehicles man. lol
