Ewing can be anywhere 2-4 for me... Robinson and Shaq are cool @2 or 3 but I could argue Ewing was more successful in the 90s than Robinson or Shaq.

@@alecsanderhamilton9224 ewing is on their level they were a bit more dominate.
Ewing knees is what slowed him down in 89/90 you can see the difference in his athleticism/mobility.
Also richmond should've went to ny instead of sacramento the knicks would have at least one ring.

Nah. People who never played against the best players for a whole season (which means in the NBA) never really prooved themselves.
Even today, the NBA is better than any other league by a landslide and this gap was even bigger in the 90s. If you never played in the NBA, you're a nobody in basketball on a global scale, sorry.

@@dernils6176 Tell me about a certain Arvydas Sabonis. Dude played in the NBA starting in the league with almost 30 years and legally qualifying for a handicapped parking spot, averaging just about 13 points and 9-10 rebounds throughout his career. Do you respect him even though he played his prime in Europe?

Shaq was a better player than David robinson while he was on the magic maybe u can make a case the rookie year maybe but Shaq drew so much more attention offensively. N I’m not saying David wasn’t a bad motherfucker but he wasn’t better than shaq especially in the playoffs David never could be the same offensively in the playoffs. He always struggled to b as efficient and wasn’t even close to being as efficient as shaq offensively. Teams in playoffs could get by with No sending doubles at David all the time.. you can’t do that with Shaq they had to double every single possession or he destroyed them.. David could never get it done offensively in the playoffs like shaq. David was a better defender but Shaq was so dominant offensively that just made him better. I watched these guys play. And I think David is underrated n a great great player but he wasn’t better

@@TheSands83 Shaq had Penny Hardaway who was a 1st teamer in 95 yet the Spurs were the team that had the best record, you're actually telling me he was without a doubt better? Sure, whatever. Who was on the 1st team exactly? 96 Shaq missed 28 games and the Magic still had a great record without him they actually had a worse record in the games Grant missed (10-12 including playoffs). Shaq constantly got swept out of the playoffs in that era did you forget or something?

Well, the only big man who ever carried his team to a championshio (two, even) in the 90s was Hakeem.
Shaq won his titles in the 2000s and also didn't carry his teams as he had Kobe when he was with the Lakers and Dwyane Wade with the Miami Heat but he was still crucial for both teams. Prime Shaq clearly wasn't as good as prime Hakeem, though.
David Robinson won MVP in 1995, only to get dominated by Hakeem in the following games against the Rockets. Hakeem was clearly better than him and should've won MVP that year. Robinson won the championship in 1999 and 2003, but this was mostly due to Tim Duncan and Robinson wasn't even the best big man on his team anymore (clearly shown by Tim Duncan winning Final's MVP that year). You could even argue Duncan being the third best big man of the 90s, but he was more of a 2000s/2010s player, of course.
Everyone else is not even competition. I mean a guy like Patrick Ewing. Yeah, great center. Hall of Fame material, sure. But competition for tke likes of Hakeem and Shaq? Not really.
There is a huge gap between Hakeem and the rest and between Hakeem, Shaq, Robinson and the rest as well.
I also wonder if it is even appropriate to say that the 90s were dominated by big men because during those 10 seasons, teams with dominant big men only won the championship three times. The Bulls won 6 times without a dominant center. The Pistons also didn't have an especially dominant center either. So basically the only center who really did dominate over any significant stretch of the 90s was Hakeem. But the 90s were mostly dominated by MJ and the Bulls.

Robinson had least help offensively of the great 90s centre's. He didn't have an Horry, Drexler or Kobe and Penny not even a John Starks. Admiral had no business being in consistent high seeded/deep playoff runs with the Spurs roster back then
