Nick Meets Hope and Izzy

Boy meets girls! This morning, we introduced Nick to Izzy and Hope. This step is crucial for the development and well-being of our resident dolphins. During this period, our team will closely monitor the behavior of all individuals involved to ensure a smooth and beneficial process for the animals. We strongly believe that allowing our residents to engage in this fission-fusion social structure will have a positive impact on their overall welfare!

I’m glad that nick is no longer on his own and you guys are doing a really good job taking care of these animals and I have a few good questions
What’s the lifespan for a dolphin in captivity if they are well looked after and cared for
Will you in the future continue to rescue more dolphins that are orphaned or abandoned or sick and rescued from other aquariums

There actually are some dolphins in aquariums that are currently in their early to mid 40s and are still going strong. In fact the world's oldest captive dolphin (Nellie from Marineland in St. Augustine, Florida) lived to be 61 years of age! As the quality of care in aquariums has increased, so has the dolphins' lifespans.

No,Hope never met Nick. Hope met Apollo,and Nick met Apollo but they were never actually introduced to each other
