Great albums, the top 15 albums here (plus a couple others from the same bands) pretty much covered 90% of what I listened to in High School. But like someone else here mentioned, Mork Grying - Tusen År Har Gått would have made my list. Plus Midvinter - At the Sight of the Apocalypse Dragon.
Great list: 1. Dissection - Storm of the light's bane 2. Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse 3. Covenant - Nexus Polaris 4. Necrophobic - Darkside 5. Unanimated - Ancient God of Evil 6. Abigor - Nachthymnen (From the Twilight Kingdom) 7. Down - Slaughtersun (Crown of the Triarchy) 8. Naglfar - Vittra 9. Dimmu Borgir - Stormblast 10. Old Man's Child - The Pagan Prosperity 11. Lord Belial - Enter the Moonlight Gate 12. Dark Funeral - The secrets of the Black Arts 13. Vinterland - Welcome My Last Chapter 14. Sacramentum - Far away for the Sun 15. Agathodaimon - Higher Art of Rebellion 16. Godkiller - The Rebirth of the Middle Ages 17. Watain - Lawless Darkness 18. Nefandus - The Nightwinds Carried Our Names 19. Gehenna - First Spell 20. Lord Kaos - Thorns of Impurity 21. Winter Eternal - Land of Darkness 22. Stormkeep - Tales of Othertime 23. Stormruler - Sacred Rites & Black Magick
Just curious to know how you reconcile being a rabbi, a man who preaches the word of God supposedly, while listening to these black metal bands who are blasphemous and deny the Almighty Creator.
It makes no sense to me. A rabbi praising black metal is like a vegan praising hunters and meat-eaters. They are denying and going against everything the rabbi fundamentally believes in.

Γειά σου Μόρντεκαι! Μια ερώτηση ποιά η γνώμη σου για τους Master's Hammer? Τα demo τους τα έχεις ακούσει;
Love your video.
Also I hate to be this guy asking for stuff but would it be possible to give a list of the albums? thanks!
Great selection! I mostly agree in all the bands, but i would add Mork Grying - Tusen År Har Gått replacing Covenant as for me this is more symphonic.
