WOW! I also did this over the winter, the trampoline had a smale tear in it and we were gonna trash it. I had built a tee top out of pvc that ended up breaking and went to work on the pipe from the trampoline. I ended up welding the pipe together with my small mig welder and used some poly from the boat warehouse here. I am now eyeing a white bed topper from a ford ranger to use for the cover. Great work!
This is a great job. Nice look and very sturdy looking. I've been thinking about something like this for a while but only had some disjointed plans in my head. This makes it a lot clearer. Awesome looking boat now bud.
hey, no matter what anyone says....that's at the very least imaginative.. Life span is an obvious concern but to get you through a season while you can evaluate the form, fit and function of your build and application that's great.. I do love the shape the round frame gave you.
Sweet obtanium based top! I have been gathering pieces/parts from boats and was getting ready to piece it together with the stainless but now I need to hit craigs for a junk trampoline!! :)
Very impressive job!! What size dia was the trampoline? Also did you use the legs from the safty netting as well? I know the legs sold with the netting average 7-8 ft..
That T-Top is LEGIT! I'm kicking myself for throwing out our old trampoline now that I'm looking into making a t top!
me too!!! hahahahaha pretty sweet!!!! hahahahaha
