- Welcome to my 2013 Travel Series! I am sharing videos and coordinating blog posts for the month of August showcasing my current favorite travel necessities, including all I have found I need to be an organized traveler. I loved this series. If it weren't for your tips on travel, I would have been a mess on my last vacation. What a great give away ! I tried to buy the eagle creek but they were so pricey and I decided to hold off. I am a fairly new viewer, loving all your videos !!!

Your organization is amazing. I have watched many of your videos and I am inspired to organize everything in my home. I have always liked things contained but I am not as clever or creative with my ideas. Some of your simplest suggestions have helped me reorganize my makeup, jewelry, linen closet and pantry.

Good job. I have the same Weekender bag from Vera and have used it as my personal item. It fit under the seat so I could use a carry on suitcase too.

I agree, I have found myself taking better care of my things because I see how well she takes cares of her things no matter how expensive or inexpensive they may have been. My daughter also watches so when I talk to her about taking better care of her things (she's 10) I also use Jen as an example.

We travel a lot for my children's travel sports and those Eagle Creek bags are just calling my name...I think it will make packing everyone's suitcase so much easier! Although I am an admitted over packer...and I doubt I would EVER be able to pack for 3 nights into one small carryon, this did give me some great ideas! PS - my carryon would be filled to the top with just shoes :)

I have definitely picked up some very helpful tips from watching your videos think its been just over a week now and I am catching up on the older posts also, notebook in hand. I ordered some ebags a while ago they come in really handy for packing my sons vacay outfits that I put in zip lock baggies so he can just pick one and he has all he needs for a day (shirt, undies, pants and socks) will get some eagle creeks soon. I never thought of a walking pharmacy so thanks for your many useful tips
I love your travel videos. I use Vera Bradley soft bags and I never thought about using packing cubes! I have a road trip coming up and these tips are very helpful!
I once had an awesome American Tourist vintage lovely green suitcase. I should have kept it. It had a train case and everything with it. I think of it whenever I have to travel. eh, just thought of that anywho... :)

You should talk to your nephew that is in the Navy now. Military folks are pros at packing a ton of stuff into small spaces, it's a necessity!!

loving the Vera Bradley bad, they don't seem to sell that pattern to the UK though however i have found the pack-a-cubes! Thanks for making this series Jen, believe it or not it helped me with my house move.

I don't generally weigh carry-ons b/c there is no weight restriction in the states for that.
My goal is to do this on my NYC trip. I am going for 5 nites at Thkg.. I think I can do it. The baggage handlers are alway's rough on luggage but I want something pretty for a trip of a lifetime. So Carry-on is the way to go.. Thanks Jenn for a great give-away..
