That TD pass was truly a pac 12 after dark moment
Sadly not gonna be much of that anymore
Shoutout to PSC Highlights to being an incredible CFB channel for getting all these highlights up! You keeping us all well fed!
That catch was insane, that guy got mossed so bad. It was an ugly win but the beavs got it done. GO BEAVS!!!
A win is a win 😅 lol I swear people complain some how
Yes go beavs.
I've been watching yall all season and I keep becoming more of a bev fan lol
@@justingolden21 I've been watching for 15 years, some good, some bad, but it's worth it. I go to almost all of the home games and it is well worth it.
That 45 yard run and the catch at the end! Wow! That was insane!
Nothing more electric than pac 12 after dark
Bro that stadium was dead wym
@@martingee9127 I don’t mean for the people at the games. I mean for us at home. Having binged football from noon on. Just to see wild endings to a game you really don’t care about at 12 am.
@@fatpowerful The game between Hawai’i and San Diego State also had a really good finish even though the game slogged for the first three quarters.
Lots of things more electric. The PAC has been garbage the past 5 years. Looks like finally this year they're a bit better (though I'm not buying into USC who squeaked out a win against Oregon St even though the OSU QB had 4 interceptions). But it is nice to have some football on that late because why the hell not.
@@jhaz89 I’d say 4 teams in the top 25 is more than a bit better dude. You are so original shitting on the PAC 12 like everyone else does. We legit have 3 teams that are for sure top 15 but should be top 10. Oregon, UCLA, and USC are the real deal this year.
RGIII is coming into his own as a commentator....
"Ya HBO....Help a Brotha Out!"
I 💀💀💀
That was rg3??? He was so funny the whole game
Agreed! He was terrific.
He’s got some good ones already, not as good as “there’s an orgi in the end zone”
Never give up. Well done Oregon State.
They were within 1 possession, why would they give up?
@@shivtim at one point it was 24-10
@@Witcherx2727 Do most teams give up when they're down by 14 in the third? Especially teams with a high powered passing offense?
Not exactly well done. More like " that'll do pig, that'll do"
Are we just going to ignore how high that receiver got so he could catch that pass and then came down and managed to run with the ball?
I know. It apparently shocked that second defender so much that he forgot that he was supposed to try to tackle the receiver... ;-)
It didn't hurt using the DBs facemask as leverage to do so. 3:09 pause on the video.
Oregon state lowkey been having some nice comebacks this year!
They're a much better team than their record shows.
They've been hamstringed by bad QB play but otherwise they're quite solid.
@@Titronnica Struggling to barely beat Stanford is unacceptable & that means they're not a good team at all whatsoever! Not even a top 25 team in college 🏈💯💯💯
@@vegetaking1272 they are certainly not exceptional but 4 and 2 is better than 1 and 4. Stanford is a putrid train wreck.
@@vegetaking1272 dude they nearly beat usc they must be somewhat feisty.
and giving us fricken heart attacks lol
The pain never ends.
its college football..no one cares
Your pain is my happiness, GO BEAVS!!!
RG3 was making jokes all night long. “Beat that Beaver” “Bang that Beaver”
Indeed, laid on thick
Taking a knee up by 1 point for the 2 point conversion is the most intelligent strategy I have ever seen.
long story short, long snapper tore open his hand forcing them to go for 2 on their last 3 drives.
I don’t understand. You aren’t running out the clock. Go for 2 to be up 3 possibly.
@@pitmclord if oregon state was to turn the ball over like a pick 6 or fumble that goes for a touchdown, then they are down 1.
"An improbable, an implausible finish"
Not if you've been watching Stanford football lately 😭😭
That go-ahead touchdown seemed kinda familiar.
Just like they drew it up in Minneapolis
@@logandihel Hah-Hah! That is what I was thinking of too. Very good.
Yeah
Doesn't matter where it is, losing
fans always have their hands on
top of their heads and that
"Deer in the headlights" gaze.
Surrender Cobra pose
The midnight miracle! Thank you for posting the build up to it too since it was just as important as the catch.
Congrats Beavers and Beavers fans. That was weird, wild stuff.
The David Shaw Era has now become the David Shaw Error!
I think he might be on the hot seat and risk being fired
Almost went to bed at halftime. Glad I stayed up till 2 to see the ending. It was wild!
By the look of the Stanford student section, there aren’t many football fans lol
From an Oregon fan, that catch was insane
Reminds me of the Minnesota miracle
tbh i did not think about that but you are 100% correct
Good job beavs. Doin the state proud
Outstanding individual effort by Harrison
Anyone else notice the ref trying to give the quarterback the game ball back at the end?
Cfb is fun when Oregon state is good
This is damn near the mirror image of Diggs' Minneapolis Miracle TD.
No??
Yup
I've never seen a team kneel on an extra point/two point attempt
Prevents the opponent from blocking it and / or returning the ball for a two point go ahead score.
I think going for the two point to get up by 3 would of been the best move. But I do see what @dclark142002 is saying. Worked out for the Beavers. I think I would of tried to get up by 3 though. Stanford still had 2 timeouts and weird shit happens when it's Pac-12 after dark.
Yeah I understand it, just haven't ever seen it
It was a great night to be a Beaver!!!
I was there for that game, and my family made me leave halfway throught the fourth quarter cause it was cold! The disappointment and fomo I felt after I hope to never feel again😢
#24 for Stanford definitely did not sleep last night
Great point! In re-watching this a couple times, I feel bad for him because he made a big mistake. If he stayed behind while the other defender went for the ball, he could have positioned himself to make the tackle. To be fair, I never played the game (I'm not even knowledgeable enough to be an armchair athlete) and have no idea what it's like to be in those situations in the moment, so I can't fault him for it. But as you say, I imagine he might replay this moment in his mind thinking he could have made a stop there.
Tre’Shaun Harrison’s gamer vs Stanford is up there as well or at least an honorable mention
RG3 is a great commentator
The first TD run was awful tackling, and the TD pass had the free taking an awful line to the receiver. I have no idea what he was thinking. Stanford literally handed OSU this game.
Catch reminded me of diggs in the Minneapolis miracle, especially the way the announcers were goin crazy
Nothing, and I mean nothing, like having Oregon st ml as your last leg of an 8 team parlay and you’re watching this game live feeling all hope slip away
The OSU receiver used the DBs facemask as leverage on the game winning catch. That is facemask call that gave the receiver an advantage and subsequent game changing score the refs missed. 3:09 mark clear as day.
yet the refs missed 2 pis on touch down passes for osu so it evens out
Shades of Stefan Diggs TD vs saints in playoffs
Wow dozens of people saw this one in person
2:30 Look at that crowd!
HBO!!! Help a Brother Out. Haha that is a Keeper!
The Minnesota miracle bled into Oregon
Can someone explain why the safety and the corner made no attempt to tackle him? In 50 years of watching ball, I've never seen a mental error by 2 DBs like that. It looked like when 2 outfielders think the other one has the fly ball and neither makes an attempt to catch it....weird. Also, why didn't the safety 24 fire off at the 10, like you are trained to? Instead, he actually pulls up. Never seen quit like that, especially from a Stanford player.
As a saints fan. How have you not seen the Minneapolis miracle?
It looked like the defenders expected him to run out of bounds and stop the clock.
It was past their bedtimes.
I think that by the time their minds registered that he had the ball, it was too late
Can we just run the replay of the Minnesota New Orleans game ending TD catch? Very similar..
How
That was a wild ending it sure was amazing ending. University of Houston and Memphis they had a crazy ending too y'all should go and watch that ending when Houston came back with a kickoff return and with an interception it was cold yall got to go and watch that game too crazy ending.
awesome stuff!!!
Lol - the reactions of all the future electrical engineers and computer scientists in the Stanford student section after Harrison's TD. Take heart, kids - you'll be making 6 figures a year very soon!
That’s insane bruh
What a win. BEAVS OUT
An awesome O.S.U. BEAVER comeback!
Kevin Dunn is proud :)
MAN I was sad af when FSU lost Harrison. And this is why
Kinda reminds me of The Miracle in Minneapolis!
Reminds me of the Minneapolis Miracle!!!
Stanford needs new coaching staff
Big Play Tra’
Why did they take a knee on the two
Point conversion/extra point?
A TO on a 2 point conversion could have resulted in 2 points for Stan and the Beavs would have lost in heart breaking fashion. A blocked PAT if returned would have giving Stan the tying point, it was a great coaching decision by JS.
Qb had to look back after the tuddy and make sure there were no flags lmao
Did OSU take a knee on the xp? I don't know if I have ever seen that. You could take a field goal lead but you sit on it and give them the ball with 13 seconds and two timeouts? Is their offense really that bad?
No one has answered but the OSU long snapper got injured and for some reason they had no backup. I've seen some other teams kneel it so the opponent doesn't even have a chance of getting a return score
Did the beavers take a knee on the extra point/2 point conversion? They could of went for 2 to be up by three just in case Stanford hit a big play and was able to kick a field goal? Did I miss something or is that what happened?
Stanford still had 2 timeouts also. If it wasn't an interception in the last few seconds of could of been a big yardage pickup, call timeout, and kick a field goal. I'm not a coach but I kind of think that was a lapse in coaching.
how did we do it, go beavs
24 for Stanford playing the role of spectator rather than tackling the WR. Literally watched until it was too late.
Love seeing all the nerdy shocked faces. Go hit the books!
They need to go back to dungeons and dragons. 😅
HAHA I was totally thinking the same thing, oh well we lost, lets go back to coding hahaha
What was 24 doing on that late TD? 🤦🏻♂️
Glad I watched the end of this. I won 300 on it. I thought the refs almost messed this one up with shitty pass interference calls that gave Stanford there last TD It was good Defense,. Why I don't like betting, 😂
the commentators for this game are legit.
Yes completely agree.
reminds me of :
Diggs

TOUCHDOWN
VIKINGS WIN IT !!!
GO BEAVS!!!
The most disgusting catch TD and clutch finesse iv ever seen in college ball
Coach Shaw worth every penny of that $8,900,000/year he's getting
Let's GO team show your support BEAVERS
Congrats to Oregon State looks like the Beavers cut some trees down
Why did Oregon state knee it on a two point conversion? They Didn’t waste any clock, and gives Stanford a chance to win with a field goal.
They wanted to eliminate the chance that Stanford could score 2 points on the try.
@@terryfox9344 A TO on a 2 point conversion could have resulted in 2 points for Stan and the Beavs would have lost in heart breaking fashion. A blocked PAT if returned would have giving Stan the tying point, it was a great coaching decision by JS.
@@terryfox9344 makes sense
"The disbelief" on the faces of the Stanford students? Stanford was 1 and 3 going in to this. They're smart kids...good at pattern recognition....
(Sovle my riddle) at 4:35 the quarterback tosses the ref the ball one second later it vanished where did it go?
Editing...
"DIGGS SIDELINE TOUCHDOWN"
Is it just me, or did they kneel the 2 point conversion.
I assume not to risk a possible 2-point return which would give Stanford the lead. Actually kinda smart when you think about it.
Hmmm i thought the same thing 🧐🤨🤔
@@Landonio but wouldn’t going for 2 make more sense? Just curious
@@Landonio ehhhh, you could at least run it so you get a field goal lead
@@user-ng5my1jt8q Their point is if the unthinkable happened (bad snap, fumble, INT), Stanford could have returned it for 2 points and the lead. I'm not sure I'd defend the position, the odds of a 2 time-out, 13 second field goal drive have to be higher than a 2 point conversion going the other way but there is some logic in the decision.
As a defensive back you always need to look and see where the ball is. .. Or at least put your arms up when the receiver goes up to catch the ball. The defensive back did neither and he looked really really bad
Its been so long since Stanford football has been THIS bad. It almost feels surreal
Wish OSU did this to USC.
Why didn’t Oregon state go for 2 after the TD for a 3-point lead? Stanford was close to get in the field goal range.
3:08 - What was 24 doing!?
Reminds me of the Minneapolis miracle
The Beavers knocked down the Stanford tree and used it to build a dam. What a win! 🦫
Go Oregon state!
Go beavs baby
Wat is up with Shaw n Stanford? Its beyond embarrassing.
Wow, how could Oregon State let Stanford make it so close?
because, they almost lost but then they won
2nd String QB
@@Legiey lmao
Yeah Tre
Minneapolis miracle vibes
Stanford has to have the worst D1 football fan base in the country
Nice Moss...
Why on earth did they take a knee??
I guess they didn't want to risk the extra point being blocked...
wow the beavers actually won
Go beavs!!
Are we ever going to win against a Power 5 team again
Oregon state dark horses for pac championship
Why did Oregon state take a knee after the 56 yard touchdown?
I guess they didn't want to risk the extra point being blocked...
This is a bad day for my cats
What is this announcer's vocab bag. He's a walking thesaurus.
