Wish combat could be closer to Brotherhood/Black flag, disarming with bare hands, then throwing these stolen weapons, switching between hidden blade and main weapons quickly, then using a tool combination etc etc. Combos were sick if you knew how to pull them out back then, felt so good to disarm big guy barehanded to just drop his weapon on the ground and finish him off with fists, damn
Well I do enjoy the new games what you described would fit the shinobi assassin vibes very well actually

I really enjoyed the combat in the older games much more. It was more grounded (even though sometimes enemies took turns to attack you) when it came to animations and finishers, and made you feel like a badass assassin in my opinion. The combat now, to me, is more unappealing and unrealistic, and though I enjoy it (just not as much as the one in the older games), it gives too many Witcher 3 vibes for an assassin
Combat was too easy in 4. I felt totally unchallenged

Yes Ubisoft Quebec did good on odyssey really good it was fun the story wasn’t boring kept me playing to find out more the side quests was hella fun and they knew how to add a little comedy to it with out it feeling force so I’m already knowing they’re gonna nail this game cause odyssey was nominated in the game award being compared to to rdr 2 an the last of us if that don’t tell u that Quebec got this in the bag then I don’t know what to tell you

Idk I JUST now thought of this. But instead of only vertical traversal with the grapple hook, you can horizontally run on the walls with the hook. Could you imagine a target is on the other side of the wall, toss your hook up on a neighboring building, run along the side of the wall, clearing the blocking wall, and jumping off into an assassination on the target! I just shit my pants.

@vinamrgogia7656 no. Lol sorry I probly did a poor job of explaining that. So like in the fps game titanfall or jedi survivor where you can wall run along the side of surfaces, do that but keep it more realistic and using the grapple hook. And then jumping off from there into an assassination or throwing projectiles or some shit. I think that would add A LOT to the parkour system. Also opening up more options for how you approach a situation. Or fleeing from enemies.

This would be incredible, but I'm worried Ubi hasn't thought outside of the box with AC in a long time. Possibly not since the diagonal wall parkour in Unity
@vinamrgogia7656 lol Idk how to explain it much clearer than that. But no not like ghost. That's honestly my biggest fear is them just trying to make another ghost game. That's the last thing I want.
One of the biggest things I'm looking forward to is the animations, imo that will be a make or break thing to me. It felt like there was so much inconsistency with them in the newer games that it really started pulling me out of the immersion they clearly want us to have, as well as I was trying my best to have!
Getting through Valhalla finally and replaying other AC games in prep for this one! I hope it delivers!

The parkour was an upgrade to the older titles as it was more realistic... Parkour isn't as fast as the older titles display and it really helps to understand this

I honestly wish they use the cinematic trailer for Mirage as the blueprint for combat. It would’ve been dope to roll over a shoulder leading into an assassination or dual takedown animations. Hype for Red tho !
Gotta say, was hyped at first to get a AC game in Samurai/Ninja Japan, but then I learned that Ghost of Tsushima gets released for PC this may so now I pre-bought GOT and it looks amazing from all the old console footage, so im not even sure I will purchase the AC version since I bet anything it will be way worse.
I'm getting GoT as well for PC. But it doesn't make my excitement for AC Red any less. Why play 1 when you can have 2?
@@kibathefang6022 I get what you say but I just feel like I will be greatly disappointed with AC after I played thru GOT. And its still another triple A title Price tag for a game that probably be much worse. IF AC came out well before GOT I might me interested in buying it so I had something to do before GOT.
I already beforehand felt like AC just pumps out copy-paste games every year where they pretty much just change some looks but its still just the same. Valhalla and Syndicate was a bit better imho, but the rest becomes quite boring fast. Haven even finished Mirage.

@@blueberryiswar You mean unlike all the repetitiveness of AC games? Most open world games have this kind of stuff, still think the visuals in this game, the story, is still worth the price, unlike many other titels in the last years.

Mirage is the most polished ac game since the RPG era began in terms of animations and fluidity. Calling it a bust and cash grab is crazy. If you prefer the RPGs just say that.
I myself do prefer games like odyssey and origins but even i can admit that mirage was a good game.

I'm still wishing they would let Xbox player play that game but that ain't never gonan happen so yea I can't wait to be one of those characters in the new assassin creed since I couldn't play the other game

I just hope it's not as busy as ACV was. That game was plagued with bugs from the start. Hopefully with the new game engine it will be a lot more smoother. Even ACM bugs are still present. Ive had my Series X freeze up on me multiple times. I still look forward on jumping RED on release day.

I hope events such as the meteorite landings are trully random...in Valhalla, you can know the possible locations. I want less predictability, so it's more exciting to find things. These are the details that which AI could be well utilized.

This one is going to be awesome. A ninja assassin! I just hope the protagonist has a more shadowy and slimmer look without the robe or trench coat look for this one the protagonist should always have his/her mask up over their face unless there is going to be a option to wear it up or down.. Also with ninja abilities and crazy ninjustsu fighting moves etc. I hope the arsenal includes many ninja weapons such as throwing stars and knives, sais, staffs, nunchucks, ninja swords, kama blades, batons, chain whips, grappling hook, bow and arrows, blow gun, smoke bombs etc. I would say instead of a eagle it should be a raven or crow but a black eagle would also be fine.
They probably already added all that but let’s wait and see see on June 10th if the trailer meet our expectations I’ll gladly spend 70 dollars

7:20 Yes please! This is all I want, obviously besides a good story and world. I want AC to return completely to its stealth roots. If I have to play as the ninja chick the whole game, then so be it. Lol. It would be cool if they made it like Ghost of Tsushima where even the Samurai character could be stealthy if he/they wanted to. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
I really hope the game launches with transmog. At this point, it should be a given for these big RPG titles and I'm tired of having to wait almost a year or more for it to be added.

Looking forwards to it, hopefully it’s closer to Valhalla rather than the older style, I’m not far off finished RotR so I’m hankering for a huge narrative RPG again (unless starfield is released on ps5 sooner than I expect)
I’m dissapointed if they’re going back to the clunky old style climbing rather than the better smooth climbing from the RPG’s , but I can deal with it if it comes to it.

If the combat is like Valhalla is anything like Valhalla, it's a hard pass for me! That system sucked....especially with the dumb stamina bar🤦🏽♂️

I loved Valhalla. I ignored the p2w stuff of course and it was awesome to me. I don’t wanna stealth around and kill stuff I like the option to play like a barbarian. And I like the stamina bar. Would be just way too easy without it to me.

Parkour system definitely needs to change, so glad that’s being looked at.
I also hope they haven’t completely abandoned the modern day stuff, but just do it justice, like the old games intertwining storylines.

They make good trailers, but the games need a revamp, Mirage is a little better, much smoother traversal. But it needs a total revamp it’s been the same parkour for many AC games.

I wish Ubisoft would invest in some MoCap so that the characters don’t look like lifeless robots. It’s really hard to be immersed in a story when the facial expressions do not match the emotional intensity of the dialogue. Plenty of AAA studios use MoCap, Ubisoft needs to get on board.
But what about star Wars outlaws ? 🤔 I really hope we hear something about that before the show because if it is still planned for the frist half of 2024 but it has been dead silent on beside the age rating 🙄🤷🏼♂️

If I remember right the news about avatar Frontiers of Pandora was also pretty slowly we almost got non but I. the last month or 2 up to release and then we got gameplay many small trailer and behind the scenes and all that really close to release but that game had a release tho 🤔 but I'm really still hoping for the game in the frist Half games are to slow this year if all the games just comes out in the end of the year
