If you're struggling to make money or you just want to be completely loaded with cash this wipe, then you need to watch this video. Today I'm gonna show you a loot run that's perfect for new players and people having a hard time surviving in Tarkov. Surviving raids is the most importing thing to get you through the early levels and this is a reliable run you can do to avoid most of the crazy pvp interactions and get a lot of high value loot, and quest items safely out of raid.
To prove how good this route is, I've linked screenshots through the video to example runs I have done. Furthermore I've been playing Woods, doing this exact route for a long time, this is usually my main money maker in Escape from Tarkov. Woods is actually one of the easier maps for newer players as it plays similarly to games like dayz or rust, since the environment is open with very little cover, its easy to copy paste your pvp knowledge to a map like this compared to interchange. Not to mention Woods has one of the largest uncontested loot pools.

Also, I clicked on the link and downloaded the game just in case it could help. I won't lie, this is a bit annoying, but if it's the only price to pay to give this man free money, I will do it everyday, he just deserves it from my point of view. Also, if you don't like RSL, making them spend money to reward someone your are grateful to is a win-win.
I'll be perfectly honest, I hope people ignore this advice or get to lazy to run around the map. I love doing scav runs on woods and doing this run or getting all the caches that people nearly never hit. Such a relaxing time with huge profits. Hopefully the people that usually stay off woods continue to do so.
ever since this video my scavs consist of pmcs late in raid. i never ran into people. this was my money maker til now lol. i get it that content creators need to make content but these kinda videos only hurt those like me and probably you. good luck

same, normally run woods for easy loot and money runs, pmc or scav. I don't really see anyone doing anything they normally wouldn't do. I don't hit all the spots up cause i normally get full and just leave.. way to much work running around the whole map.. tired of running into rats tbh lol
@@mylastaccount8328 Yeah, I never hit every spot lew mentions. I get full and I start heading towards extract, maybe hit a cache along the way, just in case. Greed gets so many people killed in this game. As the song goes, "Gotta know when to hold'em, know when to fold'em, know when to run" or something like that. :P
I'm enjoying the amount of loot bags walking around, ngl, It's much easier than looting yaself! Keep em' coming to woods!
Warning to the night rats: Cultists can spawn near the village with the marked circle on night woods raids. This should only be a daytime run unless you know how to deal with these guys. With it being early wipe and limited nvg access, they aren't for the feint of heart right now.

@@jobennebur yeah ive ran into them 1 once and they just sniped me, but its just i hate running into players while doing money runs. So i would just avoid sunken village if there are cultists.
My moneymaking strategy has been revealed 🥲 but the cultists spawn in two locations. One of them is the circle near attachments cabin as well as the circle in Abandoned town so try to keep note of both of those.
I've been doing this run the past week, I no longer have gear fear because I know I could get 2 of my kits in one raid now. Thank monke man
I honestly used to hate Woods, but the expansion and the loot I have found this wipe alone I have become a Woods main.

Woods is really great for early wipe 5.45 ammo. I’ve managed to fill 2 ammo boxes with BS, BT, Igolnik. I’m set on 5.45 for Atleast 10-15 runs.

@@2Lew Sorry to reply but i have to ask what is your graphic settings, I have a pretty underpowered pc but idk what to prioritize so i have detailed bushes and i tend to lose the shape or definition of other players, its hard to have fun when i cant tell people apart from scenery from 10 feet away! I love this game but i feel like im really holding my friends back.

Woods is slowly becoming my fave map for so many reasons. Good video Lew, you have helped me learn new spots for my existing runs - cheers mate.
I tried this for a few days now but it definitely is no longer uncontested, every single spot this amazing guide has is either looted every run or someone is there looting it, besides of course the one you spawn closest to, I find more PVP in Woods nowadays than Customs or Interchange.
give it another week or so and all the trend followers will find something else to do and it will be back to only being woods enjoyers.
Ehh I find it looted but still seems that most people miss all the rare item spawns and loose loot

Just hit the run for the First time. Had So much loot had to stop at the Sunken village. Got a stock m4, golden rooster , wooden clock and multiple attachments. Didnt see a single scav or enemy. So Overall a great lootrun

One of the most informative and useful videos I've ever watched about Tarkov, I'm new and I'm very out of my depth but I followed this guide and I feel WAY more confident now about the game. Your content is brilliant, thank you so much for this, left a like and favourited. Amazing, you deserve all credit you get.
Can confirm that it still works,in dozens of raids I only met a PMC once on this run. and a bonus for me is that the run takes quite a while to do so most of the extract campers have left the raid by the time you get there.

Few tips from a woods main:
5:10 there is a chance for an M4 to spawn on top of the big rock at the right
6:08 looking straight ahead, behind the radio dish you can spot a pallet with crates on top. There is an MP5 spawn there
6:35 there is a chance for an Ophthalmoscope to spawn under the table, be sure to check it too
9:09 straight behind, there should be a tractor, it may have a fuel tank beside it
9:19 there are 2 spawns on the boat, one on either side (left and right) of the seat. They may be difficult to spot
12:20 crouch on the stairs before going up, you'll see under the rug and beds if there is a Bitcoin/Chainlet etc
12:50 following the road from Scav town to the Old Sawmill, there is a Blue car next to the road. It has an AK spawn on the driver side seat and a duffle on the rear seat.
12:55 there is an M4 spawn next to the APC, right side 2nd wheel from the front
And the main tip: Don't overlook the FOB/Base near RUAF. There is a ton of loot, and while you are in there might as well take a look at the 2 stashes near the tank. Just be aware of scavs, as it is a real hotspot there. Also player scavs tend to go there, so prepare for a fight.
you need to do more of these with different maps. They are made helpful because I barely know how to run woods and this will help me a lot. Keep up the great content ❤️

I started the game at the end of last wipe, I'm already doing all my scav runs on woods to help me learn the map and this is going to help me a lot.
I can't do scav runs in woods. My last 5 attempts have spawned me in with less than 4 min on the clock.

I rarely comment on videos, but I would like to say a massive thanks. This is my second wipe and I have generally ignored going to woods, the map is large and I get lost. However, yesterday I did some of this run a couple times and found a modded and unmodded M4, bitcoins and other valuables making a profit of around 0.75 mil roubles making the game a lot easier. Now I just need to improve my horrendously bad PVP skills.

Thank you. This guide brought me from level 7 with 59,000 rubles to level 9 with 813,000. In just a few raids successful raids! (I was headshotted by scavs and sniped by some players while doing the route) I find that woods is REALLY large, and I need to learn where all the valuable spawns are on the floor. Takes a lot of time going between a map and back to the game- so much so that I’ve missed my extract due to time once.

Personally I love woods after it received it's expansion and think it's an under appreciated map, especially in terms of loot.
Didn't know the sunken village had all these rare loot spawns so I'll be sure to check them out in my next raids

I’ve found moonshine on the table at 5:35 already this wipe at the end of a raid on a scav run. The camp had already been looted and it blends right in with the bottles on the table so be sure not to miss it

I just watched Vox’s vid one the stash locations he put out last wipe and it’s terrible because he has so many cuts the the reference points on screen become useless. I run woods a lot and I didn’t know about 70% of these rare loot spawns. Super helpful, just made one of my favorite maps even better for me!
Also at 5:10 instead of going to the left of the rock into the USEC camp you can go to the right, hop up some rocks and get on top of the rock formation and there’s a bed up there with a rare loot spawn as well as some weapon attachment and ammo spawns and you can see into the other section of the camp for people coming from the opposite side

It was a good run and uncontested. But, with the help of this video it might get a bit more crowded. I’ve turned into a lighthouse main for Rogue/Raiders loot!

Woods is amazing for loot, my second raid of the wipe was on woods and I came out of it with a fuel can, two gold chains, a GPU, a brand new MP5, several high-end long range optics, an assortment of decent holo/reflex optics, and a few stacks of various decent ammo types. The kicker is that I wasn't even there to farm loot, I was there purely to snipe PMCs to get a feel for the new ballistics and all that was just the stuff I happened to pick up because it was convenient during my movements between sniper roosts.

That will happen sometimes on literally every map. Woods is just the biggest with the least choke points so people are generally more spread out.

Top class video. I've always came out with really high value loot from Woods and used it last wipe (my first wipe) to really increase my rouble count, and that's despite not hitting the majority of these rare item spawns, had no idea the majority of them were there!

Also something to note, there is another rare item spawn in the shacks across the road from scav bunker. The top floor shack, rare items can spawn on the sandbag to your right as you enter the door. (Sometimes they are clipped into the sandbag so check closely for the white dot just in case)

I must admit this helped quite a bit, as my main loot points were just Sunken, Military, USEC and the bunkers, never really batted an eye towards the rare loot spawns tbh tbh

There are at least 2 spots that you missed in the sunken village; 2/3 spawns in a beached boat laying in the grass, you ran straight past it when you came from the ration spawn table by the campfire to the next house. I have found a Bitcoin there as well as clocks, roosters, vases and lions. It is also worth noting that many of the houses have spawns in the blocked off doorways - especially in the house with the stash. That one seems to have the most consistent spawns, and I have found a Bitcoin there too.

Just a heads up, if you climb the rock on the right hand side of the first USEC camp, you can find a fully modded M4 as well as attachments and ammo boxes. Also under the medical table at the second USEC camp you can find an opthalmoscope

This is what I do with my scav most of the time since its less contested than other maps and as you say PMCs don't seem to go through that part of the map all the time, so high chances to get loot

I made tons of money after watching this, even in places I knew PMC's had been. Thanks, has made questing in Woods a lot less boring.
There can be stock weapons in the weapon rack in Attachment Cabin (and other areas like the near the military tents and vehicles in Interchange), I've found an AKS-74u and SA-58BE in that cabin specifically and M4s on Interchange.
My experience playing the original DayZ mod has shaped my entire Tarkov play style and it makes sense why woods is my most comfortable map
I personally love Woods. That and Shoreline are the two maps where I can immediately find my bearings know of all the spots to hit. I try to only ever Scav on Woods, just because it's so good for meds and some food items.
Nice guide! :D between the table and the like "emtpy house" u went in next is a little grass covered boat on the left side nearby which has actually a rare spawn inside it too :D i found several gold chains there so its might worth checking too ^^

Cheers mate! and yeah im not sure about Gas Analysers, BSG seem to keep changing all the spawns, so we shall see where it ends up. I think it'll probably spawn in crates again soon

Awesome loot run, but heads up, in the first half of usec camp there’s a 4x4 weapon box in the back of the pickup
I was preferring the interchange hidden cache run last wipe. But I also started playing like 2 months from the current wipe. So no one was running that route. Now the caches are looted 8/10 times.

My favorite map, when they made the loot more dynamic last wipe, this became my main map.
Extra tip aswell my guy! As you leave scav bunker those blue water jugs sitting on the concrete can spawn moonshine

At the first USEC camp there is a SOPMOD M4A1 spawn, attachments and ammo (sometimes 5.45 BS and Igolnik) on top of the big rock which you can scale from the back part of it. Nobody loots that and I've gotten so much good loot there as a scav and PMC. I used to run this map all the time as a new player and it has been very forgiving (There is almost no way you lose rubles running this map and hitting the right spots). It has also conditioned me with a good deal of knowledge with sniping and spotting; helping me in other maps with crucial skills needed for needed for uhh... tactically positioning myself; which I have gotten many kills with.
