- Not every tooth needs removal and not every tooth can be restored. Our job is to evaluate every case seperately and see if it qualifies to be saved with a post. if it can, i would urge you to save it!
Disclaimer: Even though retraction cord was used along with loupes and extra effort was made to ensure a dry field and the case is still functioning after so many years, the only thing i would have done differently is TO USE A RUBBERDAM!.

Amazing videos sir, always helpful. I wanted to know if the patient had more time, would you have recommended Crown lengthening procedure?? Prep length looked smaller to me.

First of all Thank you Sir for making these kind of videos...this hepls a lot in our practice...I have a question...Have you done RCT treatment till the apex....because the RCT which the patient had was short in length...and a post need atleast 4-5 mm of GP...please ans...and love your videos ans your sense of humour 😅❤

Sir! Had a similar experience at my clinic. It was a canine so yes it had a long root. Placed a post and made a core. I think the ferrule was less than 2 mm because after a week the patient broke both the crown and the post within it. Can you guide does the success of post core depend on patients bite too. I.e if the patient bites too hard from all other teeth does the success rate of such tooth drops?
I think we should take occlusion under consideration ( canine guidance ) in ur case.
My question is that patient has also dental attrition. Did you advise anything for it like night guard because in my experience burxism and other habits doesnt let crown stand for long time?
Indeed lateral forces are harmful for the teeth. Patient has a nightguard, yes

Shd not remove gp....just dig canal by gg drill leaving remaining gp in canal atleast 5mm
If the tooth is premolar and the tooth is not visible it's in the gum level can we save that tooth also ??

What did you do about clearance. As you showed in the first pic that it wasn’t enough. So how do we deal with that?
It appears that way from the picture from the front. It was followed up with another picture which showed more clearance :) Also proper crown prep will ensure clearance at the right area.

Hello sir, i have a Question,, i am 33 years female,,, all my front teeths are amost gone,,,my dentist told me my teeth are porous thts why thy are decaying fast , my front 6-7 teeth are going to have crown next week,,,my doc said he will just make one piece and put front crowns all together, but i think it will look fake,,, i asked him place them one by one,, he said , it might not b v reliable,,,, as im young(i feel)😅 i dont wana lose my smile or have fake smile,,, wht u suggest,, kindly suggest so i can make up my mind and talk to my dentist,,, Regards

Since a very long time I have been emphasizing upon the fact that
it is never really a very good idea to question the Clinical judgment of another Dentist.☝️✨
No one should ever do this to anybody and Nobody likes that.💯💯💯
I've seen many juniors questioning the clinical judgement of many Senior dentists that too with baseless statements , maybe the only reason I could find is because they themselves aren't able to understand things, their concepts are not clear and hence they are unable to understand the treatment plan which was followed by the other Dentist.💯
Every dentist who arrives at a Clinical decision, now this would solely depend on the capability of understanding the clinical case and intellectuality of that person.💯💯💯✨✨
One dentist talking badly about the clinical case of another dentist in an accusatory tone is absolutely not correct and not at all acceptable.
If genuinely the person is having some doubts it should be put forth in a very respectful and polite manner.
There is a certain way of saying things in the correct manner.
Being in Disagreement should not lead to one becoming Disrespectful towards the other person.
Things can be and should be tackled in a respectful way.

The Best way to get through this situation is to have a Good Assumption that whatever was done previously in the patient's case ( if at all things were done in the ethical boundaries of treatment procedure)
Then surely the treatment was done in the best interest of the patient.

This case clearly depicts the best approach towards saving the natural tooth structure, this of course prevents fracture.
Back in time, when I used to study for Prostho ,Conservative and Endo, there were no case discussions like these and nobody from senior years was ready to share their knowledge so easily. ✨
I wish I had the chance to learn from you during those days.🥹
But ,I am happy that at least my juniors would benefit from this precious UA-cam channel.♥️✨
I remember how I used to break my head into books , trying to relate the textbook with the actual clinical cases in the O.P.D,
I used to Study Perio first to boost my concepts in the understanding of Endodontics. I used to love reading Cohen, Ingle,Marzouk and then after I used to read from Shillinburg and then after reading from the textbook the very next day I used to observe the clinical cases in the hospital O.P.D.
I used to ask a lot of questions from all seniors, because I used to be an inquisitive student.
I wish during those days I had the chance to learn from you.
I must say our Juniors are lucky to learn through these amazing case discussions, clearly they won't be able to learn so much in a short span of time from anywhere else, this is guaranteed.💯
To have the opportunity to re learn these things from you , this has been the greatest blessing for me.😌
