Each patient is different, each case is different and all circumstances are different for everyone and so every case has its own evaluation and treatment plan. Please Note: Ideally, always go for individual crowns rather than connected crowns and even when done try to limit to 2-3 crowns. In very few cases such these, crowns can be connected due to substantial loss of tooth structure and joined crowns better distribute forces and hopefully will prevent further damage. (Also the patient cannot afford dental implants for now) Teeth 11 & 14 were saved with deep fillings and then later on polished AFTER the placement of the crowns for better shade matching with the new crowns. (The picture after polishing is not included in the video.) If this has helped you, please do let me know in the comments section, subscribe and share ahead :)
Good case discussion, excellet attention to detail . suggestion:- all ceramic would have been little better since its an anterior tooth and zircronia staining goes off with time making them look like 🚽 seat (appearance) ... 2)One more suggestion if u want zr02 crowns u can opt for multilayered (16L) for aesthics not monolithic type .. 3)Try using 3D vita master shade guide . 4) Better convergence of line angles and contact point shall be taken care .. 👏 👏 Great work once again , & Respect from indian Prosthodontist 😊
Sir I have a question. If caries reaches subgingivally in one or two surfaces of a tooth then can we then place the finish line of the tooth preparation on the restoration?
Sir, Hopefully you are doing well.😇 Thank you for uploading such an amazing case discussion.🤩 0:46: Thank you emphasising on this, major issues and chief complaint of the patient should always be addressed first. Even in regular O.P.D cases what I keenly follow is Quadrant Dentistry. 6:48 : Thank you for explaining the concepts of post and core through this case. 8:23 This crown preparation is done so perfectly.. 😍😍 10:05 : Thank you explaining in detail the best clinical approach in this case. 12:32 : Wow 😍😍😍 So beautifully done.. I never expected such a fabulous result in case of joined crown. 14:25 : Absolutely right .. Patient needs to be told everything regarding treatment outcome. 16:40 : Cent per cent agreed 💯 This case clearly depicts the importance of ferrule.☝️ I also had to re-watch the previous case discussion-12 in order to compare these two cases. Since, it was an MOD , and carious lesion destroyed the fewer areas where ferrule was not present. I personally find such cases really difficult.☝️ Also, keeping in mind about the build up done w.r.t 1 4 could have been the potential cause of uneven forces which could have dislodged the crown very easily. I have seen many such cases of dislodged crowns.☝️ Joined crowns always give that unaesthetic appearance and I somehow previously I hated them but this case discussion made me love these joined crowns. Kudos to the laboratory people who made them.✨👏 Much Appreciation for the awesome handiwork of yours and for the efforts that went into making such helpful and informative videos .👏👏👏 Please keep uploading more such videos . I have already shared it ahead with the very first click. ☺️😃 Because, I believe in sharing ahead without any hesitation anything that is truly beneficial and is for the greater good of people around me. And I must say that your videos have never failed to win the appreciation of my colleagues and juniors and very recently some of my seniors too appreciated your videos.✨☺️ Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to make videos that really is helping a lot of people. This number is actually greater than you think.☝️ Because, the content is actually filling in those gaps in our learning , this is why the reach of these videos might not be better but how it helps an average dentist in his/ her own practice and the overall impact of these videos is tremendous.👏👏 Recently, I rewatched another previous discussion on this channel.✨ Case discussion -11 too has been so good, and right it has over 2 lakh views .This is clearly indicative of the fact that these case discussions and lectures are really helping all those who are trying to learn and improve upon themselves every day.✨ Thank you for sharing with us your insights and beneficial knowledge with all of us.🙏 May God reward you and all your loved ones with good health, happiness prosperity.✨ Stay Blessed Always .😇 Best Regards 💐
