They feature a unique spring geometry that makes for the easiest playing pedal on the market as well all the adjustment options anyone could want. The pedals can be dialled in to absolute perfection for any player in any style.
DISCLAIMER - These pedals were not provided for demo. This is my personal pedal that I purchased.

What you did at 5:57 is what has just now sold me on these. I'll have to start saving up and while doing that want to get my double bass playing to a level that is worthy of this engineering masterpiece, but man, the way these are perfectly symmetrical for left and right foot is astounding!
AWESOME Job James! You explained the in'z & outs of the pedal! Can't wait to get mine! Keep kick'n it!
Even though I’ve gotten away from metal, you sir may have sold me on the advanced technology of this pedal (especially the pedal distance away from the head and the mediation of power and speed in the strap)
Glad to hear it! Great pedals are for everyone - not just metal heads!
Nice video! Really enjoyed the cutting from info to music back and forth. You forgot to mention, that you can order different length' of the drive shaft and therefore have no limitation for the placement of the slave-pedal! ;)
Yes, ACD is getting more and more exposure)))
thEEE best pedals in the world, addressing every issue with the major manufacturers' products.
I want the middle pedal so bad. But it's so damn expensive))) I hate my Trick BigFoot, just total garbage in terms of feel.
500 bucks is not expensive...
It's an investment in you! Aren't you worth it? I'm getting the middle pedal, price means nothing when it come to my instrument! Think it over Sega...
@@herodesh more like €1600 😆😆😆
1:40 does the phantom also has this gromerty spring concept ?
It does yes. If you check out the video I made for the phantoms it goes through all of the details in the same way that I did here
The website is super confusing, how much for the double pedal?
I’ll be doing a video showing how to order soon but it’ll depend on what you choose with it. Currently a standard double is €1180
What is the Ride @9:22?
Chris L it’s the Istanbul Agop 21” Xist dark ion ride.
Darwin vs Monolit Czarcie Kopyto?
Ok...these look badass.
Is all this for real ?...all these features, and why they make such a difference..? I have a dw9000 that I like because it feels really steady..really even..really fluid with both pedals..I have pearl eliminator..which feel springy..responsive..with a wallop..
But both have seen years of play and both have problems (dw clamp is broke..pearl is missing a couple fatty short screws and a tiny Alan screw..both i could fix..but..)
new is nice!
I have been looking hard a pearl demondrive. -expensive!
Now I'm looking at these..
Help!
Yea, these are the real deal! The quality control is spot on because Dennis does it himself, the design is the best and most versatile out there, and the materials and construction is out of this world. I've had pretty much everything out there over the years constantly searching for that one perfect pedal. Sometimes I'd find something I love the feel of, but then the build wasn't up to scratch, other times they just didn't feel right. These pedals are perfect. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for. And in the long run they've saved me money because going from an iron cobra to an eliminator, to speed cobras to 9000's to demon drives, to trick to axis etc etc I could have bought a couple of these and still had change! With these pedals I can dial in any feel from stomping heavy to super light and responsive and anything in-between. I've had mine a couple of years now and they still play like the day I got them, and Dennis is amazing if you had questions and for support. If you ever had a problem Dennis would sort it for you. If you like different feeling pedals every now and again, want every adjustment you could imagine, you want something that will last a lifetime AND feel the best out there, get one of these!
@@James-Chapman-Drums thx..I appreciate the reply. And ya, after watching this again and checking the website...its pretty clear that these pedals are nextNEXT level. The backpack (and hardcase) and how the pedals breakdown alone is jawdropping.
There ok but not as good as trick
In my experience I’d say the opposite. These are machines to a much higher standard being made by one man who designed them the quality control is second to none. They are also MUCH more adjustable and versatile. I can dial these in to feel like my old trick pedals and much much more. Also compression springs are nowhere near as efficient as this spring that travels an oversized arc.

What do you dislike about the feel of your bigfoot?
My middle pedal arrives next week .can't wait
@@deftones3138 I can't explain, it's just weird. I fell for the appeal of a compression spring and the ability to be separated into 2 single pedals which none of the pedals on the market had at the moment in 2013 (however, I've never used this feature, hahah).
It's just too bouncy, the footboard is too heavy, there's not much range of the footboard to be moved up and down, and I like the big motion with a big beater angle. But the design won't allow it.
As soon as I tried Iron Cobras after years with my BigFoot it felt like heaven, smooth as a butter, just perfect.
I have a chain drives for my Tricks. I even considered buying Low-mass footboards from Trick, and the adjustable cam from Dennis (ACD Unlimited) but the cost of all these upgrades... men, f*ck Trick, I would rather save these money for a Darwin
@@deftones3138 aaaaand the slave side just wants to run away during performances/practice. Trick have never, even to this day wanted to fix this issue. Put some fkn spurs in the base plate ffs!)))
There are no markings on the slave side beater holder.
The bass drum hoop clamp is a crappy design: can move during playing and puts too much pressure on a narrow area (metal on wood contact).
I don't know, compression spring sucks, just not my thing. And I'm stuck with it, cause... monnnneyyyy
Sega Milkis, the compression spring design is what I struggled with as well. Even with maxed springs and beaters closer to the head, I couldn’t get used to it. The low-mass footboard makes it MUCH easier to play. At the end of the day, I preferred the Dominator to the Pro 1-V, felt way better for some reason.
I got the ACD FTW’s and it’s sick. I think you would have and easier time adjusting to it and would recommend it 100%
