Hello Amy, I am just finishing my jacket by inserting the lining and got stuck. Took a two-day break to figure out how to proceed with the hem part. I thought of stabilizing the hem with double-sided adhesive tape and after that, I wasn't sure how to move on. I went to search for UA-cam help and I stumbled upon your video which came in really handy and was a "lifesaver" so I'm just here to thank you so much for your help. Hi Amy, I was watching your most recent video and this one popped up as a suggested video for me. I clicked on it right away because I'm currently working on a Butterick pattern jacket 🧥. The instructions for the lining are weird but I knew there was a better/proper way to do this and this tutorial is just what I needed. I've only altered jackets before, I've never constructed one from scratch. Thank you for this tutorial. I'm ready to tackle these steps now.💕
