The Higher Power story did make sense. It wasn't about the WWF title (completely anyway), it was about Vince humiliating Stone Cold. We have seen this trope in films, TV and Video games. Give the hero what they want, only to snatch it from them.
In his hatred for Austin, Vince had literally zero reason to believe he would actually come to help his family. Up until that point, Austin had never done anything for anybody else, and the reason why Vince hated him is in part because he represented the exact opposite of what Vince would describe as a good person. The Matt Hardy one was the first time wrestling crossed a line to me. Jeff was my favorite wrestler in 2008-2009. I had heard him talking about losing his dog Jack in his house fire and it broke my heart. Using an animal like that just kind shut me off to the story. Wrestlemania 25 was the first Mania I watched live and I just felt nothing during that match featuring my favorite wrestler. I think I might have even muted the TV so I could do some homework. What a shame.
Not that it makes it any better, but Kane threatened Matt Hardy in order to... do what he did, so it's technically coercion. Still terrible but is less evil?
Looks like he's gonna be blacklisted following yet another series of abuse allegations towards women that he previously did and apologized for back in 2017, and it looks like history is repeating itself once again.
It's too bad the Taker heel turn happened after the Invasion. Ive always felt Taker's heel turn would have worked if it had been against another babyface. Imagine this: Vince announces at the start of the Invasion that he's signed the biggest babyface from WCW: Diamond Dallas Page. He admits thats he signed to WWE and took a pay cut because he loved the fans and wrestling that much. Vince tells Page that if he wants to be a WWE Superstar, he needs to join the new Kiss My Ass club, and then the angle plays off with Taker as normal, only in this context Taker is mad that DDP thinks he's better than him for not kissing Vince's ass like he did. At least in this context it makes the one-sided feud between Page and Taker also make sense (which it didnt at the the time).
No no no. Shayna told us EXACTLY why she betrayed Ronda in her outfit she wore for the fight between them. She was dressed as Horus from Warhammer 40K who tried to kill the Emperor of Mankind (his father/clone seed) for lying to him, his brothers, and all of humanity. DEATH TO THE FALSE EMPEROR!!!
For people wondering, Adam is on disciplinary leave due to similar abuse toward a guest on NRB which he was kicked off Cultaholic back in 2017. You will not be seeing Adam ever again on UA-cam unless he manages to worm his way back again.
LOVE you brought up the Bella’s cause that made NO SENSE AT ALL. Nikki betrays Brie at SS, then they say really bad things to each other (in horrible promos cause “talent is not sexually transmitted”), Nikki’s says the worst line in women’s wrestling history “I wish you had died in the womb”, Nikki wins in an ok match, makes Brie her servant…….and Brie goes back to being Nikki’s lackey and helping her win the title at survivor series. I’m sorry…..WHAT!?!?!?!? Brie and Nikki could’ve had one of the best funds in womens history. But due to terrible booking, horrible promos, and the fact both women kinda suck, it was all pissed away. And we got one of the worst year in womens wrestling history with Nikki as champion and her match being the definition of bathroom break.
Considering that Vince and Johnny hired female talent based on their looks and not because they were actually good at the parts of wrestling that the audience sees on television, it's not surprising that there have been some stretches where the women's "wrestling" has been terrible.
Yeah, in 1996 JR never claimed it was Hall and Nash, in fact I’m specifically said…”I never said Hall and Nash were coming back, just Diesel and Razor” when Gorilla was reprimanded him for misleading fans…👎

The higher power definitely should have been Jake the snake it makes the most sense and he should've taken the title off of Austin as well then Jake would have gotten that world title run that Vince promised him

Isn't this Adam's channel though? How it will continue if he's gone? Not that I want him back if what he did is true. Does that mean Tempest will run things around here?
Q: Why did Brock turn on Cody? A: Brock cannot challenge for the title while Roman is champ, so Cody winning would have put Brock back in the championship picture. Since that didn't happen, Brock blames Cody for ruining his (current) chances of becoming champ once again.
I don't think HBK turning on Hogan in 2005 made any sense. I believe the reason Michaels gave was he wanted a match with Hogan. Well, his betrayal didnt make sense because he never asked for the match. Now on the one hand, I'm kinda glad he didn't ask for it because the betrayal was so sudden very few people (if any) saw it coming (at least I didn't; it pretty shocking) But at the same time, it didn't make sense. Especially, since Shawn immediately turned back to a babyface after their match at SummerSlam '05.
I thought tempest was running PFK? Either way, I don’t really care for Adam other than early pandemic days. Most of my enjoyed content on PFK is gameplay stuff. All the best to those that have to clean up this mess, again.
Christopher Daniels as the higher power wouldn't work. The idea of Takwr being subservient to another wrestler feels wrong. He once served the whim's of Paul Bearer, but he had evolved past that by this stage. Really, I don't see a good ending to that story, anywhere.

I always thought they never really needed to have the "higher power" actually be anybody. It was just fine when it was being implied to be Satan.
I think that would’ve actually made more sense than what we got.
This was clearly written by or for Adam. Where is he?
So Vince’s heel turn basically boils down to: “It’s just a prank, bro!” 🤪
Not that it makes it any better, but Kane threatened Matt Hardy in order to... do what he did, so it's technically coercion. Still terrible but is less evil?
These betrayals don't have to make sense-they only have to make sense in Vince's mind.
Vince was ousted first as the head of WWF in 1995 by Diesel in his tweener promo.
Uh oh im lost .. Adam’s gone again and made mistakes ??
Please no. Just no. I feel like I don't even need to add context to this, it's very obvious. (Just no).
What happened with Adam?
Where tf is adam?!!!
Did they fire Adam?
Looks like he's gonna be blacklisted following yet another series of abuse allegations towards women that he previously did and apologized for back in 2017, and it looks like history is repeating itself once again.
Hopefully
If there’s one thing Luke knows for sure it’s gothic burns! Hahaha
Where tf is Adam
Okay, you might have a point about it happening too soon...
These videos make my Sunday!!! Thank you Mates
Nick Dinsmore is underrated
Shayna betrayed Ronda in the middle of a championship match..that made no sense for me that was stupid!!
Rondas most recent return was when Shayna was saying how shes tired of being compared to Ronda and then Ronda just came out and boom theyre a tag team
For people wondering, Adam is on disciplinary leave due to similar abuse toward a guest on NRB which he was kicked off Cultaholic back in 2017.
You will not be seeing Adam ever again on UA-cam unless he manages to worm his way back again.
Wtf. I didn't know that. I haven't watched wrestletalk for a minute and now this happened.
8:28 came expecting Luke Owen’s Undertaker impression and was not disappointed 😂
It should have been Kurt Angle who ran over Austin like Adam booked it
LOVE you brought up the Bella’s cause that made NO SENSE AT ALL.
Wheres Adam?
Yeah, in 1996 JR never claimed it was Hall and Nash, in fact I’m specifically said…”I never said Hall and Nash were coming back, just Diesel and Razor” when Gorilla was reprimanded him for misleading fans…👎
It's the champions' prerogative if they enter first or last
Stone Cold turning heel did have some highlights and would've made sense in a different era
Thank you for properly pronouncing the “hower power” 😂
God, i hope it's not true.
What?
Another accusation apparently
N jayvn Jimmy Gona HV the best brothervl v bro match EVER Nbmind solos there n usos still got a decade at top
Speaking of betrayals....I thought this would be an Adam video 😢
Adam might have betrayed those who put faith in him and gave him a second chance. (It's very early and we'll know when we know etc.)
@@apocrypha5363what's happened?
@@jordanmince7613 Carley, who has appeared often on NRB (the board game channel WT runs) has messaged that she's not going to be on NRB again because Adam has done what she describes as "essentially a copy and paste of what happened before."
She's said that Adam is on "disciplinary leave" and that NRB/WT are putting in place "protections" to make sure staff and fans are protected, but that she doesn't believe this is enough for her to feel morally okay with appearing on the channel.
Basically, according to her at least, Adam has done something that might be sexual harassment/abuse or something in that general area.
JR always seems so pained and strained when he’s on camera I do not understand how Vince could pick on him so much.
Where's Poochy?
The dog house.
@@apocrypha5363 😂 nice
Sunday and no Adam I’m concerned
The higher power a think vincecbooked himself into a corner as worst hing ever
Emancipation proclamation?
I'm sorry, I don't listen to hip hop
Lousy is leaving and wanted to put over her BFF. Simple
Let’s not all pile on Adam until we know the facts and a statement is made about his absence. Innocent until proven guilty.
Edge had to be kicked out of the Judgement Day because he was part time
Austin’s abness!!!
Was adam let go or something?
"I wish you died in the wooooomb" 🤣 forgot about that
The higher power definitely should have been Jake the snake it makes the most sense and he should've taken the title off of Austin as well then Jake would have gotten that world title run that Vince promised him
In 1999 was Jake the Snake Roberts healthy during that time. Because reports back then he was not looking so good
@@attiepollard7847 yeah he was on drugs real bad but if he hadn't have it would've been awesome
You can use Big Show for all ten of this spots!
Considering where Don Callis is now, I'd actually buy the idea that he is the Higher Power. Also, Cradle of Flith is a good band and I'm tired of weak normies pretending they're not.
Right, regardless of the accusations and regardless of the list videos, us fans are what keep channels like this going, we need a transparent statement from WrestleTalk regarding the Blampied situation. Last time he got sent away from UA-cam over something that could of stayed private and if it’s much of the same or something else, just a statement would be nice. We are your audience at the end of the day. Arseholes
Abusing your celebrity status for nudes isn't a "matter that could have been kept private.
Isn't this Adam's channel though? How it will continue if he's gone? Not that I want him back if what he did is true. Does that mean Tempest will run things around here?
No Rolls Barred is I think. Either way this place can't let him go. Biggest fanbase is his.
I just hope things are going well for the people who aren't involved in the current dramas.
SULLIVAN DESERVES BETTER
Oof. Luke dont also be a pos please
Q: Why did Brock turn on Cody?
A: Brock cannot challenge for the title while Roman is champ, so Cody winning would have put Brock back in the championship picture. Since that didn't happen, Brock blames Cody for ruining his (current) chances of becoming champ once again.
that was never the reason..there was no real reason besides wwe wanting cody to have a huge feud won on his belt
11:15 “austins abness”
Most of these are gonna be half-assed tag team breakups, aren't they?
Hey, Luke... What's the deal with that dig at Canada? We're a Commonwealth Country, ya wanker. Plus, I always cheer for you in Monday Night War.
❤
Christopher Daniels as the higher power wouldn't work. The idea of Takwr being subservient to another wrestler feels wrong. He once served the whim's of Paul Bearer, but he had evolved past that by this stage. Really, I don't see a good ending to that story, anywhere.
Adam turning on WhatCulture and siding with WrestleTalk jkjk
Wait, no Adam? Where is he? Everything okay?
