How are you flying over lake James and Norman i thought that was considered as bodies of water and part of the national Park rules I’m new to drones just bought a m3pro and been looking at all the rules
Thank you 2Fargonesvt. Appreciate your comments and questions. Lake James and Lake Norman are not in national parks and you are allowed to fly with the normal guidelines unless you are close to a airport or in a state park. Wish you the best luck flying & thanks for your questions.
Hanging Rock State Park, Lake James State Park, South Mountains State Park, and Lake Norman State Parks: North Carolina has 41 incredible state parks in all. However, you'll recall that the NC Division of Parks & Recreation drone law that prohibits the usage of drones in state parks without a Special Activity Permit. That’s what google says when you google can I fly my drone over lake Norman 🤷♂️ why I was curious I think it’s dumb why I asked how you was doing it
Maybe I’m miss understanding it tho guess there is a state park at Norman but the whole lake it’s self is not considered a state park I’m just trying to understand dues and don’ts there’s a lot of rules in this hobby 😂😅
