Does It Bleed? Reviewing Splendorgel Paper with Fountain Pens

Hello again friends! Today I’m reviewing Fedrigoni Spendorgel Avorio paper. It’s an 85gsm Italian paper that claims to be better than Tomoe River Paper. Let’s see, shall we?

Pen and ink combinations:
Lamy Safari (F) with De Atramentis Document Fog Grey. Tends to be a wetter combination, bleeds through New Tomoe River Paper
Lamy Safari (1.1) with J. Herbin Amber De Birmanie
Pilot Kakuno (M) with Sailor Manyo Shirakashi
Sailor 1911 (MF) with Monteverde Olivine
Jinhao 82 (F) with Diamine Oxford Blue
TWSBI Eco (EF) with Sailor Studio 123
TWSBI Eco (B) with De Atramentis Document Black
Conklin Endura (M) with De Atramentis Document Fog Grey. This is a dry combination and this is the only pen that I DO NOT recommend from my collection. It’s pretty, but unpleasant to write with
Pentel Energel 0.7mm. Juicy gel pen
