No dumplings were harmed in this production. I ate them all.
This video is inspired by my first day in school Ireland after immigrating at 8 years old.
In China we've never heard of the concept of "Bringing lunch to school" so she packed me an entire 4-tier insulated thermos with soup, rice, meat and Greens. It would have taken up the literal entire lunch table to lay out. I was embarrassed.

My school literally gave us 1 hour and 45 minutes for lunch. Everyone would just sit and talk for an hour. But there was this one table that made their own lunch and even prepared the entire table by cleaning it. It was insane.

Eyyo wtf? 2 hours? I only get 15 minutes yo
My school gave us 72 minutes but only on Fridays. We had 48 on every other day.
I had a friend in college who was 3/4 Chinese and 1/4 Vietnamese, and her grandmother made her lunch every day. Her 3 layer bento box smelled amazing! 🤤 I loved sitting next to her with my cold store bought sushi, bc the smell alone made my food taste better. 😂
what was in the bento box
@@sukuna69420. It was slightly different each time. But, the general formula was typically fried rice with a grilled meat, vegetables either diced into the rice or grilled vegetables as a side (or both), always a fried egg to go on top of the rice, and either soup broth or tea to drink with it in a thermos. Cold days usually had soup. 🤤
