  • Mobile Home Before And After Pictures(double-wide manufactured).Bought double wide mobile home repossessed by a bank. Bought for under $50,000. Mobile homes are not always the most profitable. These before and after pictures will show the remodeling. Smokers lived here and smoked indoors for 20 years. Everything was yellow, greasy, and dirty. Must have not ever cleaned either. Mobile homes are tricky. The foundation has to be good. I working under the house many months to fix the plumbing and make sure no water stands underneath.
    Two sons, daughter, and my wife helped remodeling the mobile (double wide manufactured home.

      David Pikett No reinforcement was required. While it is true that the tile floor is heavier than vinyl or laminate the 2x8 floor joists spaces 16” on center are plenty strong enough. The way the support beams are located underneath the clear span is only 8 ft.

    When viewing BEFORE...what were the makers thinking ? The bathroom wall paper and flooring hmm...but add to that @ 1:04 Nothing like a mirror and 2 windows to feel luxury in the tub pushed in the corner and make your neighbors wish they were there...oh, wait they are there. Right there with you and a mirror to see every side of you.

    • @davidpikett7697
      @davidpikett7697  4 роки тому +2

      Yes I used Kilz on all the trim and on all the walls. The walls on most manufactured have a kind of vinyl covering. So I use oil based Kilz on all of it but the water based may work as well. If the walls are real dirty and nicotine like this house I wash the walls first with Biocide 100 (you can get it online). I have no problem with bleed through and the top coat adheres real well.
