Mexican Animation Companies present at Annecy Festival
The Annecy animation film festival in France has started its activities, which will run from June 15 to 30 with a new online format. Annecy Festival is the most important specialized event in the animation industry worldwide, since year after year it brings together the most relevant agents and artists in the sector to exhibit their short film, series and animated feature films, in addition to calling for professionals at MIFA, the international market for multimedia content.
This year, Mexican creators continue to promote the industry with the presence of a Mexican delegation with more than 20 companies that present virtual stands where their catalogs of services and projects in development are disclosed. Also worthy of mention are the credits of four Mexican artists who collaborated on projects that compete in the festival's official selection.

👀 ABOUT THE MEXICAN ANIMATION DELEGATION
EXODO Animation
Exodo Animation are specialists in storytelling, their outstanding technique is 3D and they specialize in tools to generate pipelines that allow them to work with international clients from Guadalajara, Jalisco. This year they are the creative partners of the Pixelatl 2020 Festival.
In the last 5 years, the company decided to focus on high-level projects, the most recent being "Anacronte", a short film with more than 70 awards at different international animation and film festivals. In 2010, they created their first full CGI animation show for Televisa, and later, the company ended up with more than 250 animation and visual effects shots for the science fiction movie "Time Warrior" in the United States.
OUTIK Animation
Outik Animation de Guadalajara, is an authorial animation studio specialized in stop motion technique. This year you present the short film "Eclosion", by the director Rita Basulto, which was selected to participate in the Perspectives category.
Kraneo Studios
Kraneo Studios is a stop motion animation studio based in Puebla. They have international clients and have been creative partners of Pixelatl. Julia and the Abismo portal are currently developing her first animated feature film and this year they are participating in the official selection of the festival in the Commissioned Work category with the short film "Raíz y Mañana” directed by César Cepeda.
Diomedes Heras
Diómedes Heras is an independent artist who recently collaborated as an animator with the Argentine short film “Migrante”, an animated short film of collective creation made by more than 50 Latin American animators. Migrante is part of the Official Competition in the "Perspectives" Section.
Théo Lenoble
Théo Lenoble co-directed the graduation short film “Dogs” presented by the prestigious Gobelins school.
