- Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 18 August 2024, we will start today's video with rivers in flood along Old Malmesbury Road in South Africa. Next, we'll visit the charming town of Rosendal, which has picturesque surroundings and a quaint atmosphere. We'll take in the breathtaking sunset while driving on the Glencairn expressway and climb out on the Olifants River Bridge in the Kruger National Park, a stunning bridge with a beautiful view. Along the way, we'll take in the breathtaking views of Cape Town, Umhlanga Promenade on a windy day, and the picturesque Kleinmond Library with its 1000 origami cranes. Our journey continues along the coast, stopping at Melkbosstrand, which has its pristine beaches and tranquil atmosphere. We'll explore the vibrant Thaba Mall and show you more videos from around South Africa.

We live in the platteland but try and see as much as we can of South Africa. Join us on a journey as we explore the beauty of South Africa through daily video captures. From breathtaking landscapes to vibrant cities, we showcase the diversity and charm of our country.

We want to show our viewers as many places as we can across the country worth visiting. South Africa is a large country, and only some locals know where all these places are, we therefore add a map that we created to show where the video was captured more or less. We also try and provide some history on many of the towns, museums and events on that day in South Africa. We take pride in bringing original and captivating videos that will leave you in awe.
Also in this video, a serene stroll along the Komati River in Komatipoort with a monitor lizard spotted, and followed by a scenic drive from Upington to Cape Town. We'll drive along the scenic routes, approaching Pringle Bay, and visit the iconic OR Tambo statue at the OR Tambo International Airport. The Palmietriverbridge near Kleinmond and the pole art at Hermanus Old Harbour offer a glimpse into the country's creative side. We'll relax on the beautiful beaches of the Strand and take in the stunning views from Sir Lowry's Pass vantage point near Somerset West. For the adventurous, the Wildrunners Trial Race in Kleinmond promises an adrenaline-packed experience. Finally, we'll marvel at the busy bees on a Ponytail Palm and witness the rare Super Blue moon that will be in full on August 19th. We then end the video today with a visit to the renowned Spier Wine Estate, known for its spectacular scenery and exceptional wines in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
