Dollywood's Splash Country is a 35-acre (14 ha) water park located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, adjacent to the Dollywood theme park. The park's central theme rests around entertainer Dolly Parton's childhood swimming in the rivers of the Great Smoky Mountains. Dollywood's Splash Country operates from May through September.

I used to push my grandparents’ tubes under the lazy river waterfall every time .🤦♂️ Glad to know that’s still universal as a kid.😂
The fresh squeezed lemonade was actually on the menu under snacks instead of beverages, for some reason ($8.99). I assume it was there instead of under beverages because it had the mark listing that it was one of the items that you could get as a snack with your dining pass.

Looks like it's worth going through the "cold" stage to get to the "used to it" stage, especially with lower crowds! I could have used the lazy river today. Thanks for bringing it to me virtually!

Have fun man I was gonna be going this august for my birthday with my girlfriend & we was so ready&excited to go would have been our first official vacation unfortunately she has left me & I won’t be going just refunded the money for the cabin we was gonna be staying in for a week in a half& the park passes sadly

We are debating whether to come back to pigeon forge in June & I really want to come to Splash Country! I’m so glad you are making these videos because it’s helping us decide!

As a side note, I love that, while you do loads of days & events as a family, you take the time for 1-on-1 days with your kids. Those are the days that will stick with them. :-)
Oh, and as a further side note, our pool here in Central Florida is nice & warm. ;-P
We had a great day! We actually have a calendar on our fridge with a rotation of different days to do something special with either mom or dad.
It's so hot in fl now. I'm sure the devil isn't in Georgia playing for a fiddle. There in God's country seems awesome!!! Lol, great video 👍

Yes, still have a number of videos to get to. Recently got to the aquarium tour & plan to get the pirates show up asap!
I work at a wave pool in my area so I understand about raft rental. Do you have to rent rafts there and what is that like ?
They just allow their tubes in the wave pool.

We are trying to bring out 5 year old grandson, but don’t think he would enjoy the cold water as much. When is it a good time to go when the water is a bit warmer?
As we mention that by June the water is warmed up a lot more.
So do you think when the outside temps reach around 85 or so? What was the date on when you filmed this episode?
Sorry for the questions, don’t wanna fly out there and the water in the park is too cold for him to enjoy.

@@jeremyblack3570 this was from 8 days ago. We were at a different waterpark today & we there were lots of little kids enjoying the shallow water areas. I wouldn’t worry about it at this point.

Cost per visit is so little in our opinion with season passes.
We have diamond passes they are way cheaper than Disney
Don’t do water parks anymore but always liked the wave pools when we did, much fun in there. More a lazy river kind of guy now!! Thanks for the food overview; I mean Splash Country video😬. 🫎
Bree and I enjoy the lazy river and like splash country. The best with all the trees everywhere and it’s more relaxing our girls like all the thrill rides at the other waterpark in town Soaky mountain.
