As many of you know UA-cam can be an unpredictable and often unfair place when it comes to copyright rules and their enforcement. If our video ends up getting cut due to copyright reasons it will be labeled in the title as a Review rather than a Reaction. The music video portion of the video will be cut out and you will only see our before and after thoughts. Unfortunately this is the best we can do under those circumstances and we would appreciate a Like rating on our videos to help us overcome any negative algorithmic affects.

I highly agree that James’s vocals are a highlight of the album. He really does shine in vocal pitch but also emotion. He puts extra soul in his performance on this album.
One of my favourite songs on the album. Love the melodic riffs, especially at the end when Lars plays his double bass!

My favorites are "Chasing Light", "You Must Burn", "Inamorata", and this song. 72 Seasons is much better than I expected, I love this album! James's vocals are definitely a huge highlight for this album imo, he does something cool on each song on the album and there's lots of cool riffs.
This album tops Death Magnetic/Beyond Magnetic and Hardwired for me, and that's saying a lot because I freaking love those albums. I'm honestly blown away, this album exceeded my expectations based on the singles! Long live Metallica! #MUYA
This is vintage Metallica with modern tones and production.
I love Robert, I honestly credit him for helping save Metallica after their lowest point in their career during the St. Anger era (I loved St. Anger btw). I think Rob helping encourage them to return to their roots from Death Magnetic forward, I remember hearing that he's responsible for Metallica playing songs live that they haven't played in years like "Call Of Cthulu". Rob is just a down to earth dude, such a loveable personality and he's a freaking beast on the bass! My love for Metallica will never die!
Rob didn't encourage them to come back to the roots, but he did encourage them to play some songs like Dyers Eve, Orion, Call of Cuthulu, Frayed Ends Of Sanity.... And he did good chunk of songwritting on Death Magnetic... And Death Magnetic had the groove... One of my favs was Suicide and Redemption, where Rob dingles that nasty riff...
Lot of people talking about the harmonizing guitars but the very last riff is 🔥 too
I've been listening to this album almost everyday since it came out I can't get enough of it, every time I hear a song again I like it even more I think there's something wrong with me or terribly right. :-) :-) I can honestly say this one of my favourite albums of the 21st Century
Such a great track. The ending, as I told you in your first impression video, it's the highlight of the album, can't be more epic than those harmonizing guitars and that double bass. Also that "set me free" by James before it adds so much flavor to the transition, so cool!

This song kicks arse!! The last 3 songs on the album are my favourite I honestly wouldn’t rate any song under 7.5/10 on the whole record, it’s a stunning album🤘🏻
I gotta say this is the album on which James has the best singing and vocal work. No, he doesn't have first 5 albums vocals, but singing performance is top notch... The biggest highlight of this album...

awesome track. Great album. Don't get the hate here on this album. There is something for everyone. Also on every review or track movie on youtube you read things like : this is the best track on the album. Lol,that tells something. Anyhow, I love that they went back to the earlyer albums with this one. Also some recycled stuff I think, but at least from the Metallica I grew up with. \m/
For 10 people loving this album there's always the "they ended after the first four albuns bla bla... Dave wrote all the songs". Even if they released something exactly like Master of Puppets, they would still cry about it. I rather enjoy this, there's been a long time since i didnt enjoy going through an album, like i'm doing with this one. Even those couple of songs that i didnt find to catchy in the beggining, are growing.

Lords of Summer lite
Exactly.. mind-blowing no one can tell it's the same exact riff. This album is full of recycled ideas and riffs, even vocal melodies, from albums past. They, IMHO, lost all their creative spark....

The second half of the song was the best part of the whole album
I’m loving this new album. Been down since Justice and I’m very impressed (not so much with Lars’ drumming) but everything else is fantastic.
The final half of the song , the harmonies, really should have been expanded more! Its great, and all too short regarding the overall lack of that style of playing on the album. This songs opening half is more bludgening stop start chugging that, every other track so far had aswell. That, and Kirks repetitious stay in wah wah land are the initial downsides for me. Most tracks initially sounded all too alike as they have familiar tempos, and riff patterns. But, Im enjoying that Im discovering new things that flew past me at the time.
Man... why listen to it beforehand and only react to the video? I'm more interested in the song reaction.
I saw Metallica in ‘96. Many like this. I do not like this. It’s nothing specific but something seems off to me. No offense to anyone. It’s just not my jam.

Comparison is the thief of joy
This might go into my top three Metallica Albums. Hatfield's always had a good voice but he's taking it to another level. There are just aspects of his voice in this album I've never heard before. But specifically this song, this video, it's so good you just laugh out loud and thinking "wow they can make things that kick ass this much."
metallica need to hang up their guitar straps after this album.just another mediocre album.........as with all of their albums after 1991

I love metallica, and will always be a fan... but unfortunately I'm into the harder stuff now..and this album feels very tame... but even with their age they still rock as always
