Chris you have blown away all the current thought about the use of expensive bows being the only way yu can engage in the archery sport. This event really does show that you can do alright with budget equipment. Thankyou for this.
Thank you for these, getting into compound this last year has been everyone telling me I need to spend like $400 on every component, as a college student I just don't have that and doesn't make sense for me. Nice to see content with mostly budget equipment
your one of the very few people i remember from my indoor spot days in michigan (2006/7 - 2012) that still has archery as apart of this much of thier life. good on you! im just now trying to get back into archery again after i injured my shoulder in 2012.
That's incredible! Playing the wind drift has got to be tough, especially when it's gusty and not consistent. The thermals that come off the hillside as the sun warms the ground would affect it too depending on the time of day. A very impressive shot to say the least.
Right before the pandemic hit I went to Reedy's in Middleboro Ma and bought the HAMR for myself and a Radik each for my son and wife, I could have bought a Matthews but I went lower budget so we could shoot as a family. I am not upset with my decision at all. Heading for my hunter safety course next weekend to get in on this upcoming season in Massachusetts. The HAMR has been a great bow to progress with and cant wait till I get up in the stands for the first time. I will think about upgrading after I get my first New England Whitetail with this bow but till then I continute to shoot 2 to 3 times a week for hours at home and at a family members 3d range. You've been one of my favorite channels to watch these last few years. Cheers Chris, good luck with the truck drawing!
@@rogerhook8002 my wife comes from a family of Bow Hunters and she has been target shooting off and on since she could hold a bow. I'm that in between age with her uncles and her cousins so I've been shooting with both generations. I figured why should I splurge when we can keep a family tradition going and pass it on to my son who is the only one of the youngest generation in the family that has taken to it in more than an at a family event sense. He will come out and shoot with me and my wife for hours. I have zero regrets for my decision because I'm making memories with my family. Also, the Mission HAMR is a fantastic performer for its budget price. Just recently got the Trophy Ridge React 5 as a fathers day present and it was a breeze to set up.
Hey Chris, I’m imagining you did something good with that shoulder as much as you’ve been shooting I’ve never heard of you being down with an injury. Would you mind making a video taking us through some of the workouts if any you do to keep that shoulder healthy?
Proper draw technique and repetitive shooting will do more for you then anything else. Also push ups and pull ups for the stabilization of the accessory muscles.
Super cool. I was just reading and article about whisker biscuit vs drop aways. I was surprised by how small of a difference the drop aways make. In the tests they did in the article the whisker biscuit only slowed the arrow 3 to 6 fps and also only caused a marginal loss in accuracy. The authors of the article said only high end competitors would be able to tell the difference in accuracy. The only real con against the biscuit is it can be a bit harder on the vanes, but again pretty marginal.
Im not Chris Bee but i've seen quite a few top level shooters talk about this, and this is the general consensus; Lighter bows are easier to get ON your target, but HOLDING is harder with a lighter bow, because in nearly all cases a heavier bow will hold better but it will be slightly harder to get on the target to begin with. This is almost a direct quote from MFJJ on youtube. Hope it helped
Hey man great content, just found this channel 2 days ago and already watched a few videos when i could. I have a question, idk if i missed it or im too lazy too look for, but do you have this bow's specs anywhere and of all the accesories so someone who wants to build a budget bow like this to get an aproximate price? If you have a video of it, would love a pointer to it. Thank you and keep up the good work. 👍🏻😁
That’s why it’s almost always the Indian not the arrow. Make sure whatever gear you have is tuned, then learn how to shoot it. Stop chasing gear and chase technique. This man is sniping 111 bombs with a beginner bow and a whisker biscuit.
The sight+scope is about $600. The hinge release is $200. The arrows he's running are about $250. Im betting the stabilizer is around $100. Your "budget" must be higher than mine. I want a true representation of budget. Every bow shop has a bucket of parts that people didn't want when they upgraded. Pull some stuff outta there and build a bow. Then we'll talk about budget. A $100, 15 year old bow with $1000 worth of PREMIUM accessories isn't "budget"
This is sick. Chris I sent you a message on IG. Would you be interested in a video series where viewers submit clips shooting and you critique and give tips? Would be an awesome laidback series bringing in new shooters. I would definitely send a clip in :D

as is always the case: it isn't the gear, it's the person. Congratulations

Love the caribou shot vids, they’re tradition at this point.🤙🏽
The group like that at that distance with any bow would be no joke !! Excellent shooting Man...

Just amazing archery and he’s so cool with it and a budget bow to boot. A thoroughly deserved win from a Titan in this field.
Chris has better groups at 111 yards than I do at 10...

I wish I could group like that. Good work, Chris 🐝 .
Timing, preparation, and precision my man Chris Bee
Crazy how well that little bow shoots! No matter what though, that’s one dead ‘bou! Your group would have finished him for sure!
I was sitting in the line to go up the ski lift looking at you in the binos and saying what in the world is he shooting 🤣
I was thinking about trying a whisker biscuit the other day to quiet the bow down a bit and I think you just convinced me
Those were some serious groups at that distance congrats great shooting
Pretty impressive shooting from an impressive shooter!
I was waiting for this exact video!!
Just bought this bow. Absolutely love it
Love the vids man i hope one day we meet up on a hunt. Keep up the great work.

Yes! Workouts to also increase draw weight?

He’s also young and sometimes shoulder problems don’t reveal themselves until you’re old like me. Thank God for great surgeons!

@@philliphays5923 Heheh. Well, my question is open to everyone.
Right On 👊
love your videos i started achery 4 years ago only 8 and the farthest shot is 60 yards at a target
a small one
That was impressive!
It’s all about shooting formation!
Wish I could shoot like that with my Bear. I do not have the same skill sets and the place to practice a lot. Good shooting Chris.
Those groups are very impressive.
Nice shooting!
Good shooting brother..👍.
WB pro here is $130!! Also how much is it for 11 arrows? That’s a great challenge, be so much fun. Great work man! 🤘
Man what a great shot. I couldn't hit that with a gun, much less with a bow
Don’t knock the whisker biscuit !
Nah man there’s no way you always get it with the last arrow. It has to be edited. 😂 nice shooting Chris!
Wisker biscuit says it all

In your opinion, do you think a lighter bow is better for a quicker response for shot acquisition?
Im not Chris Bee but i've seen quite a few top level shooters talk about this, and this is the general consensus; Lighter bows are easier to get ON your target, but HOLDING is harder with a lighter bow, because in nearly all cases a heavier bow will hold better but it will be slightly harder to get on the target to begin with. You should test the Bear cruzer G2
Should use an old brass 3 pin instead of a $500 sight and no stabilizer with some old Easton aluminum arrows lol. Congrats though, good shooting.
Congratulations buddy. Are you running a scope system bud?
awesome shooting.
Does not mean flagship are the most acurate these Missions are extremely accurate loved my old Riot. Go Chris
Great shot Mr.Bee. Love your channel Brotha😎🏹👍
Love the videos Chris

Agree. I want full specs used on this bow too
If I'm not mistaking they charge per each shot you take correct? If so, how much?
that's crazy
Stay up my fellow mohawkians
What fletching are you running
Love the videos
Bet that sight costs more than everything else in that set up combined…. Lol
Non the less nice shooting!!
Chris interested in selling that cheap bow? Something for me to learn on...from Grand Blanc so let me know. Love your content
"Its not the bow, it's the Indian"😊😮
I shoot a 2003 Hoyt Magnatec w/a biscuit & group well at 50yds. It’s not always the equipment…
Impressive.
I don't even want to go shoot TAC against Chris lol
When will the next Whitetail setup come out
That bow is more accurate than Chris is. Good shooting Chris.
Was this at ski roundtop??
Man, congrats on that. You’re definitely a hammer of a shooter. Great job Chris
Can you do a diamondarchery budget challenge
That guy in the blue and yellow shirt wanted to be in your video so bad 😂😢
Take the pins off.and have a real go 😢😢😢🎉🎉😂
Wow! Nice to job, :)
Whisker biscuits are tried and true I don’t care what anyone says
What bow is that he shot first ?
what is the model of that bow?
Thousands of deer are taken with cheaper and older bows than this each year in the upper Midwest.
What bow is he using?
What does it cost to shoot the 10 arrows...to enter the contest for the truck?
Rad
Saw you on the Outdoor channel in a Mathews commercial.
Congrats!!
Same thing with bass fishing
How much did the bow cost?
what bow was that? brand?
Mathew's mission hammr
What bow is that? Thx

So did you win the truck??
How is it a “budget bow” with over $1,000 worth of accessories?
First

shoot a deer with it this upcoming season
I watched a few minutes of this and fail to see the purpose?
What's next 200 yards? Really
👏👏👍
That is some great shooting! Hope you shoot a deer with this bow!
Quit with the bs click bait titles.

Lol. A $100 bow with about $800 worth of accessories. Nothing budget about that setup.
Just the sight is 300 it’s bout 600 pretty budget bow to me

I like Chris, even met him and his gf in person once and shook their hands. Good kids. I just disagree with his representation of "budget".
Click bait nonsense
Did you win???
That was my first bow before I got an Elite Envision
