- Another first for me. Changing the filters on our 2016 Peugeot Boxer 2.2cc diesel. First we changed the air filter which was relatively easy. Next the fuel filter. This was a bit trickier as it was quite difficult to get to. However we managed to do it without having to remove the light unit. Last but not least was the cabin filter. This is0 often missed on a service and, having now done it, I can understand why.

Take headlight out. Drain filter. Undo clips on pipes slide filter housing up and off. 👍

30 nm doesn't need a 900mm breaker bar, I've seen a few people not remove the filter out the bracket it pushes up out the bracket seem extra work for the sake of it

Very good! Replacing the Fuel filter that way makes an easy job hard! I did mine Easter and just undo the Supply pipe and unscrew top by hand! Take top off then filter and fit new, hardly wasted any fuel, screw top on by hand til nice and tight, job done! Done many Diesel fuel filters over the years, this is one of the easier ones! Did you fit the Pollen Filter the correct way round, taking note of the Airflow direction arrow on the Filter? :-)
Nice video have you fill up yhe filter with diesel or the pump fill up it by it self and then start after some time
No, we left the filter empty. Turn the ignition on for 30 seconds to prime the fuel pump. Turn off the ignition and repeat 3 times before starting the engine.

We got it off ebay, although I saw them at the southwest motorhome show yesterday
Good job lads. For future jobs around vehicles, remove all rings from your fingers and any bracelets. They can and do get snagged on different components, I've even seen them grounding out live connections not very pleasant for the wearer.
How do the pipes come off the fuel filter
The fuel pipe has a grey coloured connector which you pull back on which releases the fuel pipe from the filter housing.
My van keeps stalling after changing the filter, any advice?!
Do you have an OBD reader that will allow you to see what faults are being displayed by the engine management system? We used a fuel filter tool and made sure it was spotless clean before closing it up at the exact torque specified. We have seen a few videos warning that the fuel filter cap can be twisted if you don't and this allows air into the fuel system and may cause problems.

We got it from ebay. It was called Citroen Peugeot cup holder/tray euro 5 onwards
Do not force and snap the fuel pipe off the filter like l did! TAKE CARE. You can only buy the complete file pipe system, hundreds of pounds. Luckily I found a helpful scrap yard to get me out of trouble.
