I saw one in Cape Coral and I wasn't sure what it was. Yes, it was a Tesla but it went by too fast. I am happy to see this/them. idling just wastes gas and smells bad.
This is great news! Considering how much time police cars spend idling, the Teslas will definitely save a ton of money. Plus no oil changes and engine maintenance. Probably also cost less than those Explorers.
Save money how? Teslas aren’t designed for the rigors of police work… they will not survive… what if there’s a pursuit? The Tesla will be dead after a few miles of hard driving…
