Mike Hicks and Jesse Isley on bgvs, Video by Craig Hill
Very big H.E.R. fan & decided to do some research on those who helped write/produce an incredible song on her latest EP. Let me just say this is an amazing performance & truly a great song. Brought me to tears. The arrangement is impeccable. Keep on shining man!
I never ever comment, but I just have to agree with this comment!
3 years ago I had a chance to see Scott at Bluebird in Nashville -- such an incredible musician! Came across H.E.R.'s latest album today and heard this song -- I was like wait, this sounds like Scott Mulvahill's work.
Keep up the excellent music Scott!
Holy smokes!
This song is beautiful! The bass just makes this song so somber , making the message more impactful. 👏👏
So glad I clicked this video! Wow, what an amazing performance!
Hope you never stop writing, and never stop playing.
I saw this live at an andrew peterson concert it was so amazing!
We heard you at Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville this am - amazing - got goosebumps. Good luck exploding your career onto glory!
Beautiful song
I heard this song through The Rabbit Room tonight, and looked you up. I've probably played this three or four times already. 😊 Stunning.
Charlie Haden brought me here. Thank you both.
This is my favorite song of yours. And quite possibly of all time. You are a huge inspiration to me.
Awesome song! Have always loved the sound of the big bass. What a way to bring this great instrument out into the light. Can't wait to see you later this month in Houston.
Man! I love this arrangement, Scott! You guys sound incredible!
Saw you at the Bluebird in Nashville last week Scott. You did this amazing song. You are just incredibly fantastic!
Will keep an eye out on your future developments. You are world class! Wish you all the best!
Wow! This is absolutely beautiful! Thank you!
Absolutely LOVE that.
Enjoyed watching and hearing you at Ryman on 12/8. I've never seen someone do so much with a bass!! I was particularly fascinated by this piece during the first half of the program. I appreciated your musicianship during the performance of Behold the Lamb of God - the way you "seemed" to have your brain wrapped around the entire performance and not just your part - and your nonverbal interaction with some of the other instrumentalists during the pieces. 40 years ago I had to choose between music (classical) and medicine. I chose medicine, but my heart has always been in music. Maybe some day . . .
😍😍😍😍😍💕
The audience is super quiet lol
