Note 3: When it comes to Gear presets, you can have Example (Head Gear): with more than one item listed with priority numbers selected. Example: Heavy being set to 1 and Med set to 2. or you can set the gear to specific items you are making or in storage.
Note: You really do need to get your (1) Gear preset done for archers and footmen, that way they will get the proper gear. Also for (2) food, press I believe "O" to access the food preset and change it from 1 to 3. Finally (3) Click on the "Staging Ground Flag" this will direct your troops to change gear per the preset and get food per the preset. Please note. This process does take time as they will only go to the barn one or two people at a time for the food barn and the Gear barn. I have over 30 troops and it takes almost 5 minutes for them to get everything because they do one at a time.
Note 2: When building structures in villages. Once you place it. If you hover over it, you will see the material delivery date. The materials will be delivered automatically on that date. The villagers will build it on their own with out your help, but it will take a little longer than if you do it.
When creating a custom setup for gear, you can select just medium or heavy armor. Just klick on the "O" with the line true it and select a priority number. Like you did with the individual armor pieces.
You can create two presets worker and companion When you raise your army you instructed them to go to the barn to collect the equipment according to the preset and when you disband your army they’ll revert back to villager and drop all there gear back off at the barn This helps because armour has speed debuffs You should play with the presets one of the first things I tried to do
In my testing it seemed to me that in order for the companions to automatically get better gear you must have the gear setup done in the staging ground's gear presets. The "-275 for villagers killed" isn't 275 villagers killed, but rather -275 to prosperity.
I like to move my army by using my traveling points. I move up to a TP, move to another and use 'E' to move my troop to this location. it makes the army movement less boring and avoids me babysitting the army on the move.
The 4 star are mostly apprentices and the town needs to be liberated to hire them, there are one or two 4 stars that can be hired once protector of town
Fine balance between what to show in the video and what not to. As for the mods great thing about single layer games you can play the way it work for you. I dont wont to have to worry about storage while playing and would rather fine tune other things.
Great job on the melee work, looked so much more smooth. Loving the series, thanks for continuing it
Thanks for watching! Glad you are enjoying the episodes

In the army window. Click on companion, then you can select how much food they can get.

I was wondering about the -275 thanks makes sense now!

I do that a bit in areas where there are low bandit numbers now, I hate how they get get stuck if they run into bandits thou
Hey wombat here is a tip before you or your people read a book eat food which increase your xp, this way you can get more xp from books.
Good call! I'll have to try that out, thanks for the tip!
You need to build the belltower first but you ring it
Worked that out in the end, its wasn't that way before the August patch and haven't played in a while
get your villagers food bags
I needed to research the cellar to get them, I think I can do it now.
instead of interacting with buildings you need to just interact with the staging flag
Thanks will try to remember
Just do the trading to get your prosperity up without building anything
Ok might look at that thanks
It looks like you are able to hire 4 star, but you kept looking at 3 star.

Dk man, To much stuff done off screen. And those mods for larger inventory... Not 100% natural.
