Looking back on that 2019 season right now. From being written off at 3-13 to starting 8-0, to the Saints shootout, this game and Dre’s goal line tackle and to the play off run.. great season but I can’t believe we didn’t win that Super Bowl man🤦♂️ bitter taste
@@stew3089that offensive PI on Kittle right before halftime really haunts me, that field goal before half would’ve been a huge momentum driver and the game could’ve been over by the end of the 3rd. I guess we’ll never know tho.

Excellent at both blocking and catching AND is easily one of the 49er's "YAC Brothers" with the way he ends his runs physically - he also runs with full steam. Definitely one of the lesser named huge weapons on the team.

I mean I just don't get it we ran it earlier at the 1 yard line IN THIS GAME WITH MARSHAWN LYNCH, and then you guys keep saying we didn't give Lynch his chance?? The only reason we didn't give it to him again is there was too much confusion on the field players kept leaving and rejoining the huddle, and then the refs?? Let's talk about them! But of course none of this matters because "1 yard line LOL" SMH
Had an injured lineman on that play where they got to the 1 yard line. Refs should have called an injury timeout but Carroll was forced to take the delay of game instead of a 10 second run off.
Moral of the story... make sure the refs are paying attention to injuries.. also it wasn’t really don’t trust as the goal line. If we didn’t waste our timeouts early on we probably would’ve been able to win that no problem. We had lynch ready and everything and then confusion on the field, it’s too loud in the stadium... a guys down on the ground... poor reffing from Levi stadium to century link stadium.

After re-watching the highlights of this game I realized it wasn't as close as it seemed for 2 main reasons:
1. (5:27) Wilson's first passing TD, the ball was clearly beyond the line of scrimmage before it was released. Result should have been 5 yard penalty with loss of down. That takes away their first TD late in the 3rd quarter, momentum, and crowd participation. That's huge!
2. (9:45) Garland, blocking downfield and unable to hear the whistle, gets slapped with a personal foul. Turrible call that basically kills the 49ers drive. The offense was steamrolling the Seahawks, and they still almost got a 1st down on a 3rd and long. This gave Wilson the ball back, which never would have happened. Game over.
Hawks fans have complained about the PI in the endzone on Hollister (12:17). While I will admit that was definitely pass interference, that whole argument falls apart when you realize that whole drive was handed to them by the bs personal foul call on Garland. It never would have happened, Wilson would have never had a chance to throw to the endzone in the first place.
And on a side note, all these comments about the 1-yard line are wrong. It's the goal line the Hawks can't get passed. (12:29) Hollister is clearly passed the 1-yard line, but short of the goal line. And it wasn't the goal line that stopped Hollister, it was a wall by the name of Dre Greenlaw.
The rule states that if any part of the body is behind the LoS, it's a legal forward pass.
Point remains, he was beyond LoS. Can't believe I'm commenting on this right now. smh.

Cam Vong the 49ers lost cause the refs wouldn’t call holding on the chiefs offensive line. There’s no way the refs are just that bad at their job. The nfl needs a “new Tom Brady” and that’s gonna be mahomes most likely. I kinda knew the refs weren’t gonna be on the 49ers side seeing the team is young and the nfl has awhile to make money off them. I don’t think the NFL is rigged per say, just that the refs and the league chooses to favor a specific team which can really affect the outcome on a good pass rush team like the niners.

A A Losing a SB at the 1 yard line is very much something to be ashamed about. Making it to a SB is rare and losing it like that is totally embarrassing and if you want to bring up playoff records then I could say Payton on the Saints is second to the Patriots since he has a higher win percentage in the playoffs then Carroll and a SB win like Carroll.
A A I’m saying is they should be ashamed for losing that SB. They will forever be known as the biggest choke of a team in NFL history. Nobody is gonna remember how well they were years from now but they will be remembered for choking on the one yard line for a very long time.

This was an exciting game to watch again. It sucks that we had so many injuries and couldn't be this dominate all year. 2021 will be back to being dominate!
Keep in mind: Many of us 49ers fans view this as a source of pride. This, however, overshadows the fact that the Seahawks were the inferior team in every way (except QB, obviously), and they nearly upset the 49ers, who looked like they were going to run away with it in the first half.

A bye would be nice for the Seahawks if they were the same team they've been all season, but literally half our offense is new, so a bye doesnt matter that much because those guys are on their 2nd or 1st game of the season at the playoffs. Plus hawks have a better road record. Like I said, it works out.
