According to CA real estate law, if a camera or doorbell is attachced to the house with any type of screws, it is considered a "fixture" and part of the sale of the house. It may not technically be a "doorbell", but the Judge is correct in that she shouldn't have removed it. If you have a RING camera and want to keep it, you need to replace it before the house is shown for sale. Same with the curtain rods(they are part of the sale). The light bulbs however, she was legally allowed to take...even though it was kind of a d1ck move😂.
Most real estate contracts list “fixtures and fittings” that includes lightbulbs and batteries in ceiling fans and smoke detectors. CA may not have fittings in the contract, but we just bought a house where this was part of the contract.

In my country, a landlord has to give written notice at least 24 hours in advance of showing a renter through, or an inspection, in one case where I was renting, of coming into the yard to do the garden. I'm paying for privacy, whether the landlord thinks it's sufficient or not. End of story. I do not want to wake up at 6:30 am to some old guy peering in my bedroom window while pretending to cut the shrubs.
