- Skoda India created headlines with three cars in 2020 - the Rapid TSI, the Karoq crossover and the updated Superb that wears a sharper design and has a new engine under the hood. The latter is the one we have reviewed in this video, in its athletic Sportline trim. There quite a few changes to it compared to the outgoing Sportline trim. better buy upcoming new skoda octavia L&K rather than buying a superb sportline. But superb is still the best car in the world for me. Space of an A8, comfort of an A6, features of an A4 at the price of an A3.
crappy dsg of a bullock cart that fails at 30k
@@vinishshetty8055 dsg is very advanced. So earlier units suffered from minor issues. Now it's very reliable.
@@vinishshetty8055 sorry even i have a skoda it has done 100k km no dsg problems till now and as far as i know skoda hai resolved the DGS gear bix problem
@@vinishshetty8055 have been using 3 cars with DSG no issues so far almost all are doing 60k kms plus
@@vinishshetty8055 Skoda Laura 2013 owner here. Crossing 175K kms…. Haven’t faced any issues with DSG or the 2.0 TDI… still manages 0-100 under 9 seconds… tops out at 200 kmph… no major repairs required till date…
please Skoda get this variant in BLACK color.......that would really look mean.

No red..that's a big downer..loved the Red as am a man utd fan 😷😇... was considering red color as my next purchase if the new gen doesn't get launched within 3 yrs..yellow also looks hot..blue looks good also with that dark alloys..love this car..this sportline..nice review..

Bought a superb in march 2018.Back then has asked them to launch a blue superb sportline as i wanted a superb in the octavia VRS skin.They have finally done that.Looks great. love the superb and the service has been decent too

I think this car has better practicalities then its way expensive German rivals. It can be a better family sports saloon considering the amount space and comfort it’s offer. Will it be a better choice over BMW 3 series considering the maintenance and long run?

Great review great car
Skoda missed on some features. They could have added ventilated seats, they could also have put in a mild hybrid system with cylinder deactivation to improve efficiency. The infotainment system with wireless apple car play and Android auto. Mobile phone operable start stop is also much useful in an executive sedan. Adaptive suspension etc are excellent features but it's still a luxury feature but much much more useful than many other things.
The Superb is a car ahead of Camry/Accord in pure fit finish quality etc and the superb can be called a Value Audi A4.
What kind of a differential do we get in the Superb? Is it a sport diff or a regular one?
Simply superb... please launch a rider plus version... remove sunroof and dsg..add manual gearbox and don't mess with the colour schemes and all black interior price it at 25lacs. You will have bestseller... everything from mild to wild..

Noted. As for the Superb, the audio unit is still one of the best in the category, but like I mentioned in the review, some might want a larger infotainment to go with it.

Is it enjoyable to drive on twisty roads like the previous octavia/Yeti or just a big boat kinda handling? Pls let me know.
I have booked superb sportsline, delivery is by 10 aug. i only had 1 issue that their was some tyre noice and wind noice peeping into test drive car. Please suggest good tyre upgrade for this car

Superb does not have like much of a following in India, as like the Octavia. The previous one was just a bulky car. But yes this and new Octavia looks dope.

Also review the Creta 1.5 CVT SX(O) as it gets all the bells and whistles at an attractive price range compared to its rivals. If possible do review the Seltos GTLine diesel as its the one that packs lot of features in the 21Lakhs price range.
We have been trying to source these cars, but neither carmaker has the test units for these variants

Good review. Very sporty sedan in it's class. But some features should expected , like ventilated seats, Manual Gearbox, and adaptive suspension in this price bracket. #supersportline #Odmag .
They would certainly not do a manual in this price bracket but there would hardly be any takers for it and then again, the DSG is excellent. Ventilated seats ought to have been given and for the enormous length of the Superb an adaptive suspension would have really helped the Sportline’s intent. Skoda’s biggest worry in India (as is the case for most luxury brands too) is warranty. The failure rates for components in India is a lot higher - blame to lack of preventive maintenance on our part, bad roads, adulterated fuel etc. to name a few. You would be alarmed to see how many adaptive suspensions fail on our roads, so I’m not surprised that they decided against it.

Can you please tell me Tata HBX launch date & what you think Tata HBX is almost same size with venue & sonet. Also pls confirm there is hope for 1.0 turbo petrol engine in Tata HBX. Tata HBX is better option for first car buyer or can i wait for upcoming new Hyundai i20 2020 ??
Sorry to disappoint you, but the HBX is actually going to be the size of the S-Presso, give or take a few inches. It is likely to have the same engine options as the Tiago. The i20 will be priced and specced higher than then HBX and will be a premium hatchback with segment topping features given that it will be newer than all of its competition.

superb super he par outside india, aha actual me less powered aur bohot over priced he. out of india log humse kaafi kum on road price pe maja leti he. ye engine jo yaha dete he 190ps n 320nm bahar yahi 1984cc 4 cylinder engine delivers 206Kw (276bhp) n 350nm woh bhi 2018 me Skoda Superb 206 TSI Sportline mil rai thi jo ab yaha denge woh bhi power kum kar ke aur price badhaa ke.
Yes the blue looks great but still the RS red and yellow looks much better and sporty.

This is just SUCH an undeserved segment. The f*$#&ing SUV fettish has just killed it for sedan enthusiasts! Grrrr! Between this and the Camry Hybrid, where is there really any choice.
625 liters of trunk or boot capacity? Wow, this will get 5 stars in the trunk ranking here in Brazil. This is an authentic TOP 500 SEDAN, that type of sedan that offers more than 500 liters of trunk, in this SPECIFIC case more than 600. ha ha ha

Not only for me we indians use a car in city and highways. So in future make a compact sedan of length 13 feet and width of same 5.6 ft.

I saw that super hot red color in Auto expo which looks very attractive nd the alloys were also different they must have launch in red color nd that yellow u mentioned they will definitely give competition to the rivals in that color don't know why they do this type of stupid things in India
I’m guessing the customer clinics and feedback sessions they organised must have shown very little interest for the red and yellow colours.
This will be fast also. One can just look at this and predict.
For this price point, no panaromic roof, no 360 surrounded camera no lane watch no HUD, premium is not everything #Skoda

For someone who’s going to drive more than be driven? No. Otherwise, yes.
If I had to spend around 30-40 lakhs on a sedan..It would most probably be on a Mercedes or BMW. If I had to chose a car from the VW Group it has be an Audi. I'd prefer those 4 rings instead of this weird looking logo.
To each his own I guess. Though neither of those choices would be as spacious as the Superb.

Over priced Maxx please let me know how much different is it from outgoing model and though the price has been hiped like anything, except for the space at 33 lacs on road why shouldt one go for say q2,bmw2 series,cla sedan if one bargains they stand exactly where superb does so i disagree that its value for buck ,karoq 35 lacs is also a disaster trust me knowing its a CBU
It’s the question of badge vs practicality - you can either buy a large car like the Superb, go after the badge and settle for a compact luxury car like the ones you have mentioned.

Oh wait, motorcycle wheels crack too. Our potholes can crank anything 😄 for this Superb though, am size larger would have looked better for its sporty colours and bodywork.
