Definitely worth it. Take the niinivirta cargo to Milano and you can be there and back even with only 1 week of holiday time. You can send the bike a bit in advance and same coming back. Or get fired and buy a van like me 🤣🤷♂️
I think your gonna get a lot of views on your channel as long as you continue to put honda crf 300l in the title or something like this because people want to see what this bike is capable of doing. Keep them coming and good job.
Thanks! I will do some tougher tracks in the future too. People will probably just see what I'm cabable of not the bike as it's way more cabable than me 😅
New subscriber here from Ireland🍀🍀☘ love the content have a CRF Rally....VW Transporter and a trailer. so looking forward to the van tour 🤞🤞 Came over from Pavel's channel. keep up the great work
Awesome! Great to hear there is some love for these ride videos as they are my favorite to do 😄 Never been to Ireland but maybe the van will take a tour one day.
Good to see some of the TET in Italy. You might find a mapping App such as Osmond or Locus gives you a lot more detail on your phone rather than Google.
These northern areas in Italy will not disappoint. There would have been so much more to ride but some of the areas were still so very cold and I didnt have winter gear with me 😄 I'm definitely going to return to the Alps to do a long run some day. Austria would be cool too but I have been told offroading there is forbidden so maybe not that cool to ride there..
Well I'm gonna be biased and say the best part goes from Piehinki to Raahe to Siikajoki to Lumijoki in Finland.. because I made it 🤣 Finland is a country full of beautiful lake areas but TET itself is not a challenging ride 99% of the time. Most of TET Finland is pretty easy with nice views and nature so easy to tackle alone with almost any bike. Lots of hard packed gravel roads. But if you want difficult Enduro riding you must get off the official TET. Welcome to both my Discord servers especially the "Moto Travel Europe" server where you will find a lot of Finns willing to help you find some good riding to suite your needs. Also helpful to find help if you are in trouble anywhere in Europe. Links in the about page if you feel like it's something you might benefit from.
@@PatchedBandit Thanks alot dude! I think TET is enough for me! I am not really hard enduro guy! Can i ask what kind of a software are u using to edit videos? Wow it was a really creepy tunnel:)
I have done most of my videos with lumafusion(for ipad). But rescent edits I have updatet my setup and I edit on a macbook. I use apples own final cut pro and it is much faster than the ipad setup I used before. But it was cheap and very nice basic software that could do a lot. But the more I edit the more I do some finer adjustments for sound etc. those are so much faster to do on final cut. I tried my hardest to use DaVinci resolve as the free version is very versatile but it was so hard to learn that I found Final Cut to be an easier step to take from the lumafusion I used to edit with.
Thanks for the video, would be very interesting to find out what the deserted village was, maybe was construction workers village for the roads and tunnels. I think I would feel better having a plastic bag full of screw in studs with you so if the trail gets too icey you have some way of continuing going over alpine passes, looked an enjoyable ride all the same.
Love your video's Patched! And they seem to get better with every new one. Did you drive the CRF all the way from finland or did you take them with a car/bus?
I have a Spinter campervan that can fit the CRF and me both :) I'll make some kind of vanvideo later about the setup as people have been interested in it. Thanks for the comment! Means a lot and good that there is some progress 😄
I do like that Wikiloc track. Ideal for my Beta Alp 200. Is Wikiloc a good source - or too difficult for normal enduros and riders? The Spaniards from Embarra2 put their tracks on Wikiloc. Heated grips, how convenient. I know that ristorante on Colle Melosa! The vistas on via del sale in Liguria are breathtaking, not for the fainthearted. That cave - cani means dogs. Enjoy your stay in Rome with the family, Günter/Nürnberg
Thanks! Wikiloc has all kinds of tracks. At least the paid version of the app allows searching for differing criterions and types of tracks. For example enduro Medium to hard etc. Pretty nice app and I have found some interesting tracks from there that are not the basic TET that in most places with smaller bikes can be a bit boring.
Fantastic video and content! I was curious (maybe you've answered this question already somewhere else), is the crf300 in stock form, in particular the suspensions? (Cause if so, then not bad at all the motorcycle)
Thanks! I have actually upgraded the suspension to Rally-Raid Level 1 setup front and rear. This is a nice dualsporting setup but the front forks still don't cope well in an enduro track. I'm currently trying to figure out if I need a stiffer springs in the forks. All the Honda content can be found on this playlist and I have more videos about the suspension coming on top of the ones I already have done: ua-cam.com/play/PLjuLZY6TnpPnQWrKL7vgN6eCmeAY5Ea4Z.html&si=RtljurdRXHGtKIi9 The stock suspension is pretty bad. It can be ridden but it's definitely very soft. My sag in the rear was 51% and I'm not a huge dude at 80kg (without gear)
Those abandoned "villages" are most likely some military places that they built during World Wars or even before. And I think this was close to French border so they were probably built already when Napoleaon was about to attack Italia. This place? Ingresso Fortificazione sotterranea dl Balcone di Marta?
Sadly I didn't remember to look the place up on google (had no reception). Tried to find it with reasonable use of time but italy is so full of these ruins it was too much work :D
Hi, thanks for another great video. How did you get the CRF from Sweden to Italy. Do you have a vehicle as a base which you park up and ride in the area.
I drive a long sprinter van built as a camper with a big 'back stable' that easily houses the CRF. I will make a separate detailed VAN video later to show my setup. Some pictures are already in instagram but nothing much from inside the van. *Finland, Not Sweden 😁
I think around 200km on a tank is pushing it especially riding a bit harder. I have also feel that the Honda drinks a lot when riding on highway speeds like even a 100kmh(60mph). But I havent measured anything so don't take my word as gospel :) I don't currently have any extra fuel solution but I'm looking for one desperately :D I might buy some cheap fuel bottle solution just to have some in these more rural rides..
9:04 I don’t know why someone wrote “Cani Marci” on the snow, literally meaning“Rotten Dogs”. Isn’t even an advice to identify there were wolf or some wild beasts. Probably a joke. IDK Matt from 🇮🇹
Already started making it. Will try to get it out Asap but I’m just learning to do all this so its taking a bit longer for me than some of the bigger channels 😅

Absolutely brilliant video, excellent views 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I'm using Osmand on the video too 😊
Awesome ride, I kinda reminds of Colorado here in the US
Well that's one more place to put on my bucket list then 😁
I looking to go the same way on the same bike at the same time........next year. Cheers.

Great videos, keep it going.
Have a great trip 👍
Just a small difference. Kyöpelinvuori is still a very beautiful place.. 🤣
Thanks 😎

Great video and great channel! That tunnel was really scary! 😅
I guess TET Italy is not a place for big bikes? 🫣
